I think if the seller offers the option of buying one card of a set, you just have to write in item option that you want the “top right pink haired boy card (let neokyo which one of the cards you want by describing what it looks like and where it is on the pic) for 500 yen (is whatever amount), instead of filling out a contact form. Just make sure you’re not writing it as a question but as a statement or it it’ll get invalidated .The contact form is for questions.
In the unit price (in yen) write the price for the one card. Neokyo will change it to the price listed by the seller but if/after the buy requested validated they’ll change it to the price for the one card on their website.

every time I heard the word "customs" I get bad vibes, in my country is like a witch hunter and they put 60% of the price that is in the box in dollar + a tax of R$15 that until today I can't understand why exist

I wish I could see the total cost before I request something. I want to buy a figure, but I don't know if there is a hidden cost like importing stuff. I don't mind shipping or the fee (as long as it's not TOO much), but I don't like that you have to blindly buy without knowing how much you're spending.

Hey just a quick mention about the value and customs and stuff (as I work with taxes and customs):
The value of the package includes everything you paid in order to get the item. So it does include the fees and also shipping.
The details and the question about how strict the custom office will be are up to every country but that's the main rule~
Also where I live they don't charge you if the amount of customs would be under a certain amount. I don't know if that applies in other countries as well but it's definitely worth looking up the guidelines before purchasing!

Hi if i was to order some albums should i choose the Optimise for Japan Post small Package or the pack into as many parcels?
did they change including their fee in the parcel value? Because I made a packing request with 4 items and it was 1000yen cheaper. I could also change my parcel value to way less than 30% of the original value. Oof now I'm kinda sad that I didn't pack more in it haha

@@maramagil5471 customs is a tax applied to anything that is bought over 22€ from outside of Europe, it sucks because it’s really expensive to pay for the taxes so it’s not worth it to buy things from outside of Europe

how do you ensure the total amount with shipping wont go over your customs rate though? cuz im afraid of packing then when shipping is added the amount is over

Hi! I have just came across this video as I am about to make my first order using Neokyo. I am from Europe as well and I just have one question, isn’t our custom limit 22 euros including shipping? (bc if it is then the shipping is already above 22 eur) Or do they not write the shipping costs on our parcels? Sorry, I hope what I am trying to ask makes sense.

Idk how much they tax in other countries, but in Spain for a photocard/photobook is just 4% of the value of the item and for albums is 10%. So in most cases, it'd be cheaper to make a big order and pay taxes rather than sending them in different packages. Just saying so people watching this can take it into consideration...
*Edit: I've read online that the no-customs limit of 22€ will disappear on 2021 in Europe... We'll have to pay for everything... European collectors, we're screwed

@@cherry1114 on a Facebook group about imports, but it should be public on the official EU Customs web as well (ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/legislation_en). The no-customs limit of 22 was extended until july-21

I thought that too but that isn't the case. They are not taking 'fril' requests, not purchasing requests. For example, you wanted to buy an Nct Dream Haechan pc. Pretend you found a listing with a bunch of cards that are bought separately, you can't purchase the Haechan card it from that specific listing. However, if you find an inseparable bundle, you can buy it. And of course, if the Haechan pc has is its own listing, you can buy it. You can still buy stuff off Mercari, it's just that you can't buy from listings where the item you want has to be bought separately. I hope that it made sense and cleared up that misunderstanding.
If you want to buy a set of something from mercari, what are you supposed to put in the ''quantity'' section? The amount of items in the set? (in my case, 4 cds) Or just the set as one whole item? :o

you have to make an account with a proxy such as neokyo or buyee to buy from mercari
For me it says "This app isn't available in your region"
It won't let me in any Japanese proxy sites. I'm from Australia so.
The only place where I can buy photocards from is ebay. Because on instagram, twitter and fb, sales there only allow PayPal or venmo etc . which i don't have due to personal reasons. Plus the majority of them don't do worldwide shipping so-

shipping fee is the price for shipping and the handling fee is the price for them putting your stuff together, you pay for both
