I lost my wife 2 months ago. This is my first Christmas alone. I've spent the day and evening thinking about all the great times we had especially during the Christmas season. Music has always gotten me through the toughest times in my life and once again, tonight, Christmas Eve, I'm finding comfort in this wonderful music. I pray for those hurting like me tonight. I always find myself listening to Christmas songs whenever I couldn't handle everything. These past months, been struggling with my life thinking what could a 27 yr old be useless. I have been containing all emotions myself and hopee that I will never go through this situation again..ill keep fighting until I get what I'm dreaming. Thank you Lord for all the strength you are giving me. Washing my doubts, helping me get through everything without noticing. Its august now but few months will be another year again. Good Memories , and I caught myself trying to look thru the windows to see if I could see my mom or my father who have already passed, or maybe my uncle Eddie and my aunt Connie they would always look out for me at Christmas Time , but I couldn't see them , but I know they watch me from another window , a big window from Heaven.
And one day when it's my time , I will be watching over my son from the same window.

Beautiful to hear these songs played the way they were originally intended instead of all the noisy renditions played on the radio today. In my opinion Christmas music should remind us of the holiness of the holidays and not be sung by performers who feel like the louder and higher pitched the better. It has never been the same once my parents passed on......I am listening to this now as we are now saying good-bye to my brother and this music seems to soothe me and gives me the peace and calm that I need. I’ve been in that boat too. I have an autoimmune disease & if I’m sick my doctor wants me to avoid people except for my immediate family that I live with. I also have to be cautious about spreading illnesses to my immediate

Just thinking of Christmas Time earlier. Excited for the Fall and Winter. My favorite time of year. I'm 43 now, and Christmas Time is just as magical as a child. Even though I have lost ALOT of people, family now, and have been spending it alone the last few years,...it will forever be magical, and make me feel like a child. 💜
Feel you. Everything living soon dies. It's God's way of bringing everyone who believes on his Son, Christ Jesus... "Home to Himself " Abba Father God" to live without the sin Forever! Sin will not enter into Heaven, Therefore we are challenged to "Trust in His Son's death on the cross for us to reconcile us back to the Father. Repentance from sin, and receiving Christ in our hearts brings us to where we were intended to be all along before Sin entered and cursed every living soul. But thank God. Whenever I feel nervous, stressed or sad I always listen to Christmas music because it makes me feel so relaxed, and happy, it makes me feel that everything will be alright. The comforting feeling of Christmas is the best, the best part is that it reminds me of the Christmas midnight mass I attend with my family ❤️

To me, Christmas is all year, because the Christmas season just warms my heart to just think about. The glowing lights that light up the night, the ornate trees that bring the living room together, and most of all, the songs of joy and togetherness that play all throughout the day. It just makes me feel warm inside.

I don't understand myself, but, when I listen to this music no matter what time of year I want to drop to my knees in prayer and hold on to the peace and joy of a loving Christ who came into the world as God's only son so that we might repent of our sins to receive his grace and salvation. And, then I realize it's never too late because if we are here listening to Christmas music it's not like something that happened once upon a time perhaps like the battle of Waterloo, Christmas is something happening while we are yet still alive each and every day if we would only believe. Im Jewish and also find peace and tranquillity in this music. It’s also soothing and takes me back to a more simpler tranquil way of living and being in life. Things have gotten so complicated and especially as our kids have grown and have developed their own ideas of what peace in a family should look like. This helps me escape the realities of life’s hardships and helps me feel a peace that can not be explained. God HaShem is the creator of all music and I appreciate this all.
