I took a test drive today of Rizta.
It's comfortable, has a touchscreen and good family. Magic twist seemed to be a gimmick. I tested 2.9KW Z variant.
where is it available for test ride? Honestly, Magic twist is the only reason I'm not buying 450X now and waiting for Rizta. It would improve regen and increase the brakes' life. Why do you think it is a gimmick?
@@bonmec101 I took the test drive in pune. I felt magic twist was not that powerful. After media drive we'll get to more.
But they have mentioned that it's introductory price secondly their accessories are too expensive the halo is 15,000, frunk and tpms is 4999, even 3mm bodyguard is 1700, etc i own ather and they should lower down the accessories price so that many more people can afford and they can play on quantity rather than higher price for profit margins
Higher price is because of the quality and R&D they've done on their products. They make premium products so it will be expensive, you can always buy cheaper scooters if money is a issue for you.
@@jeettrivedii i own ather with pro pack so it's not a issue for me but in an overall perspective if things get much more affordable then more people who go and buy these cheap useless electric scooters will buy this quality product that's it. Ather and Ola use PMS motors which are better than BLDC used in iqube but still going for iqube more so
@@lordisback1947 You keep forgetting about cost of production. If it costs them 1L to make it then they will obviously sell it above 1L. Add in Logistical costs and Labour costs and their profit margins. It's basic math. You can't just change the pricing on your mood. Everything is not made for free, if you want lower price then Ather will need to use cheaper quality parts.
Premium helmet is not exactly an accessory.
It looks like iCube 2 but its still the best looking EV scooter.

2:53 there is a mistake from Athers side the model with IDC 123 is priced 1.45L and one with IDC 160 is priced 1.25L.

All the accessories are not available on the base model, they can easily give it on the base model but the ather guy literally told me it's because we want people to buy higher models.

Pradeep, you have not covered the motor size - is it belt drive - has the driving angle changed - looking at your video the scooter resembles iqube.
Rear disc brake missing in top variant and inbuilt speaker like we get in ola, front design inspired from Iqube i think headlight could be on handle bar
How are on board speakers even street legal in India ? I have seen losers playing loud music on while riding Ola scooters and creating ruckus on the road. It won't be long before someone files a PIL in the SC against Ola.
Addition of the joystick is nice for improved usability while riding. But removal of touch screen seems like a step back, especially for maneuvering through Google Maps, searching and typing for destination, etc.

I think you did a great choice booking the Rizta. Ola is not at all reliable. The build quality, customer service is extremely poor. I know many people who regret getting an ola. Their scooters are always in the service center

Subframe is different but the front end remains the same. So whatever weight was in the 450x ,Rizta is exactly same so it's not gonna be very different. So it's not comfy for tall riders

Brother this is a family scooter which is meant to run in the city, family people will use this scooter in the city mostly and I think 120km of range is enough, ather provides fast charging network which will give u a boost of another 80% charge in an hour

For the people who think this is a promotion or paid partnership, forget about paid,Ather didn’t even invite us this time. There was no media access to us unlike the other creators who got excusive access and time with the scooters where as we shoot everything as an owner who is visiting like how 1000’s of them visited the ACDC 2024.
My honest opinion is Ather Team is becoming like how OLA in dealing with media.

I mean if I buy Apex, but Ather halts production, declare it as vintage and no more spares be available? Or because Rizta and 450 share common platform, is that going to be something to not worry too much?
