Glad you got to see so many great things but must have been rough being sick and too hot and not getting proper sleep to recover. How sweet you got to see a tree that Moroni and his dad planted years ago. The event table looked beautiful. Thanks for showing us, I'm guessing this video took a bit to put together. 🏵️
It’s sooooooo hot we live in Oaxaca and the weather has been vile 🥵 I can believe you were here and I missed you tried to message on Facebook messenger ❤
Mexico is such a big part of my culture growing up in So. California even though I'm not Mexican. It was a two hour drive to the US/Mexican border and I've been to Mexico many many times and just loved it there. Many of the plants that thrive in Mexico also thrive in So. Calif. I recognized a lot of the plants you showed as some that either grew in my yard as a child or at family, friends, and just the local area. I've lived in New York, So. California, North Idaho (2 hours from Canada), Colorado, Oklahoma, and spent a lot of time in Arizona. Each place has its own climate and fauna and flora and makes gardening a real challenge. I've also been to Mexico City and to the pyramids near there so it was really nice to watch your video and remember all the good times I've had there. The Montezuma's Revenge was probably from the water. I've had that in Puerto Villarta once on vacation.
That’s for showing what the flower market is like there. This is something you would never see when you go there to the all inclusive resorts like people here do. WOW! When I went to Maui in December in 2022, it was amazing seeing all the flowers and ‘indoor’ plants they could grow outside all year round. I say, it would be wonderful to live there, but I’m also a cold weather person. I melt in the heat 😂
Great vlog! Mexico City is on my travel list. One of the best classes I took in college was Mesoamerican art & archaeology. Looking forward to your visit to Teotihuacan. Love the flowers and the party. Sorry you all got ill. Are you familiar with Gabriela Salazar (La Musa de las Flores)? Her floral studio is near Mexico City.
Only watched half way through at the moment. I totally understand the elevation problem! We went to inland Mexico for 3 months a few years ago and my daughter was really poorly with the altitude sickness (probably saying that wrong, so apologies!) but with being so high up in thin oxygen. I will carry on the video now, I will also add that we have been on holiday to Cancun and the Mayan Riviera where we were perfectly fine and absolutely loved Mexico. X
How fabulous! ❤️
Travel safe ♥

I love the flowers in Mexico. Most I cant grow because we get too cold.
Same. We would have to have them as indoor plants and then I think they wouldn’t get enough sunlight in winter.
Thank you Sis , Bro, and Babies.

Hope you have a lovely holliday in Mexico. Thanks for the video Phaedra. Knd regards from Joke InThe Netherlands.
I love it! Way to showcase Mexico! I grow many of the same here in Texas because obviously, I have the same climate mostly. Beautiful!

The altitude sickness really made us feel off. Isn’t the Mayan Riviera beautiful!!!
A different view of Mexico than the usual
How fun. I can't remember, had you learned the language?
