If you decide the carrots seeds are no good, find a good spot out of the garden and sprinkle them about, if they grow great, keep the seeds, if not, no loss 😃
Hi Phaedra, your excitement for your floret zinnias is infectious, I can't wait to see how they flower for you. I thought Zinnias hate being transplanted so you are going to have a very successful crop. I also, would be interested in your photography course. I think most flower gardeners are experiencing slower than usual crops this year, don't let that get you down. What you have achieved is amazing. Now, just focus on your fencing, whether it is the temporary small or the big picture project and keep those nasty rabbits off your zinnias! You are so inspirational, keep going! xx
What a treat to get out to the garden, the focused shots are delightful! The carrots , the little yellow loofa flower all of it . Your gardens are beautiful. My grandson loves the cinnamon basil. 😢I’ve started lisianthis and eucalyptus thus far. My outdoor temps were -34 degrees below zero. I’m in the thick of winter but my day length are increasing. I grow in a long day area . Northern zone. Love the tour all is beautiful! My veggie seed collection is exceeding my flowers. Still will do both! Love your videos!🫐🌿☀️💦
Oh wow that’s cold 🥶. So exciting you are getting close to Spring now!! We have entered survival mode here with the heat - Feb is the worst month of the year 🥵
It's all so pretty - just the inspo I needed to get out in my garden this morning 🥰 I am suffering from a lack of motivation, "summer" this year has been absolute rubbish in my area of NZ, a continuous weekly cycle of cold snap - gradually warm up to the mid 20s - cold snap ....... and so grey day after day, everything is stunted (except for the weeds of course). The upside is that we have actually had some good rains which, coming off near drought last 2 years is really nice and personally I do better in cooler temps but my summer garden is not at all happy.
@ Nayelle, Avalanche, African Peach, African Sunrise, Carlos Watermelon (bud opening 🥰), Drachenburg, First Prize, Salmon Joy, Sahara all stunning thank you so much for my new obsession 💖
I love how you mix your garden with photography!! Some gardens can be very photogenic!! But heads up!! Adelaide farted!! Sending you a two week heat wave coming your way!! Your welcome!! LOL!!
Oh my gosh I just looked at the weather forecast.. NOOOOOOOOOOO. it's going to be almost 40 all week! Thanks for the heads up... I'll start prepping the plants :( :(
You're doing a great job with your planning my friend!! And love your photography! I'm both as well (flower farmer/professional photographer), too funny we have so much in common!
@@phaedragardeness It really is - I use to shoot all the time (book cover photography) before the flower farm but now not as much since I'm so busy. I still have lots of my work with my agency so still selling covers which is a nice secondary income revenue!
Like the others I would love to learn how to take good flower photos. Hope your tomatoes are doing better than mine just not ripening for some reason in lots of different areas so can’t just be the sun ave to re string a few but will have to wait till the bees have gone to bed tonight.and my tomatoes and other veggies are all netted. I sewed two nets together put in long stakes and covered them that way.
Hi Phaedra, I'm in NSW and I grow the same variety of Matricaria I think it's called Tetra White, and the seeds I bought from Australia but not sure where, possibly Jardin de Fleur who is now closed. But yes it is such a cute fluffy variety!
Hello! I got the johnnys seeds a few years ago before the new rules came into play. You can still try but you have to pay for a Phytosanitary Certificate which is around $300! I’m not really that keen to pay for that!

Great idea! It was a bulk pack too so it’s a lot of seeds!!
Would love you to do a photography course, I'm awful at pics 😂
Thanks for letting me know! I think I could help everyone take better photos!
Big fat bees in luffa flowers is a very cool sight.
So cute!!
Love your videos!! Your photos are amazing. I can feel what you do in the garden too. Thank you😊💚
Awww thankyou, that’s lovely! 💚
Hi Phaedra I love your vlogs and would love to learn how to photograph flowers x
Thankyou, I’ll start working on it!

I was wondering if I should put a temp one up again. The rabbits had worked out how to get in and the wallabies were jumping it :(

Oh no!! Plants really don’t like temp fluctuations like that 😭.
I hope it levels out for you soon.

I love my Pink Show I got from you in my mystery box, she’s quite prolific. All 10 have now flowered, they’re so beautiful 😍

Have you considered being a Wwoof host? Food and shelter in return for 5 hrs a day work....could get that fence done. ...
I don’t think it’s for us. We have a small house, only 1 bathroom for starters. We do know people who do it though and they had heaps of work done!
Yes I would love the photograph flowers plz
Ok Thankyou!!

I know a lot of people in the same boat with the tomatoes. Wonder what the issue is?

Hello!! It is Tetra White!! As far as I know it’s no longer available as seed in Australia. It’s sooo pretty isn’t it!!
Yes Phaedra, I am interested in the photography course as well!
Thankyou, I’ll try and get something put together as soon as I can.
Hi 😊 How did you get seeds into Australia via Johnny’s seeds? Every time I try to order from the US, they’re confiscated by bio security 😕

@ Australia has had bio security laws on seed imports for decades though…
