I think this fox might have been just as scared as you! 😅 loved your reaction though haha! Reminded me of my killer pheasant situation I had when I was younger!
You stayed a lot longer than I would have, Emma, with Wicked Willie giving you the evil eye! He was scary looking! That shovel wave though lol :-D Too funny .. thumbs up! xx
🤣I have foxes going through the back of my garden quite often, but they tend to stay away when we are out, we sometimes leave out food and they appear quite friendly most of the time, your fox looked like he thought you were on his patch🤣😜
The fox looked poorly, I see them often and haven't been attacked yet. I'd just carry on and ignore it tbh. It does look sick though, that's not an evil stare, it's something wrong if you look at its eyes.
Great video. Keep them coming. Foxes are a lot more afraid of you than you should ever be of them. They keep the rats down and when they dig into your vegetable beds it is a compliment because it means that you have filled it with worms. Where do I find the smiley face icons?
Rats? What flipping rats?!! Are you actually joking me? there are rats at allotments?!! And yes, so many bloody worms. I know they are good for the soil but, bloody hell. It's like a flipping worm factory under there. :)
He did look a bit weary. He may have had a den underneath the blue shed and just been woken up. Foxes are a sight more scared of you than you should be of them and keep the rats down. If they did up your beds it is because you are a good gardener and your soil is full of worms. And fox poo is free fertiliser so how bad is that? Anyway, great video. Keep them coming
@1:30 You have done very well so far. I am always amazed at how bad some allotments get before new tenants are given the chance to takeover. If allotment committees were more serious with plot inspections this wouldn't be such a problem. if a plot-holder isn't taking good care of his / her plot they should be kicked off before it gets really out of hand (always assuming there isn't a good reason for the lack of progress on a plot) Of course, this year will have to be treated differently, as many plot holders are not willing to visit their plot during this Corvid19 situation, which is quite understandable. Your own health is more important than a plot. I have just subscribed to your channel Regards !
I'm no David Attenborough but I was thinking that his 'den' was beyond you in the thicket and you were between him and the safety of 'home' and maybe his foxey family? Enjoying your videos being a first time allotment holder although two videos in you are no further forward than myself I am happy to say lol. Good luck with it all, looking forward to seeing the fruits of your labour.
He has to be called Evil Neville...lol Cant believe you left, he was just sat there thinking "What the heck is she doing".. nice video though, squirrel and a fox in one vid..:)
Lol. Or, he was thinking "What the heck is she doing on my property? I'm gonna charge at her in a minute and rip her to shreds". Wasn't gonna stick around to find out!
Haha! Aw thanks for subscribing! I found it so funny watching back too, but that’s because when I was filming it I was being deadly serious, genuinely scared. It just cracked me up watching it back because the fox looks anything but terrifying 😂😂
I only thought of this the day after. Was trying to work out what would make a fox just sit there like that and I think either he’s getting old and losing his marbles a bit, or he has a nest on or very near to my plot. He was growling a little though so he felt a bit hostile to be honest! Will venture back soon so stay tuned for the update!
Just watch your video . Are you not sure that the fox does not have a den on your plot , maybe in that pile of shrubs you are building up to make a fence ?
Foxes dont attack, but i can imagine how scared you were. But he's a friend not foe hell be catching rats on the plot. Figuring out if your a danger to him or not.

Haha! Wicked willie! Brilliant! And I know, I have no idea what I was trying to do! 😂
Im a recent subscriper so im starting watching from this video now. The fox looked like it had eye infection
All the ground cover freshly laid on the plot nearby! 😄 And looks like the tree is still there 🤔
🤣I have foxes going through the back of my garden quite often, but they tend to stay away when we are out, we sometimes leave out food and they appear quite friendly most of the time, your fox looked like he thought you were on his patch🤣😜
Haha! I have no idea what he wanted, crazy! Xx

Thank you for making me laugh so much, just what I needed 😁.
Anytime Amy! It wasn’t actually funny while it wasn’t happening, I wasn’t terrified! Xx
Aww I think he's an old boy. Looked very tired. I think you have a new friend 😂
I think so too. He wasn’t quite with it was he? And I’d rather not have a friend who digs up my veg beds and poops everywhere 😂😂😂
He did look a bit weary. He may have had a den underneath the blue shed and just been woken up.
