The LEGO Inside Tour was epic and (surprisingly) worth the price of admission. Grateful to spend time with the gang on this trip and to David for asking me to go with him on the LIT all those years ago!
not the pic of Blaine proposing to Lee :0
also i promise i was having fun guys, i was just tired from the travel!!
That burst-mode photo loop hole was GENIUS! Such a great insight man, gotta save my pennies to see that vault myself 😅
Imagine working for Lego and being paid to be there and have access to all the buildings they charge people $3,000 to look at 😅
Always wondered what the Lego vault looked like, i'm so shocked they only keep one of each set though
This is only one of a couple archives they have.
@@grantm6133 that would make sense
They have more vaults in different locations serving the same purpose and also other 'vaults/storage' that the public knows nothing about.
They most def have larger stocks of every set somewhere else
It’s a HUGE dream of mine to one day be able to afford to go to the inside tour!
Great Video David! In a way I got to meet the CEO of LEGO through meeting you. 😅
Hey, take a loan. You will get your money back by selling that limited set they give you! 😉😅
I kept on reading, guess I wasn't alone to think of this.. 😆
@@skepp5597i guess that could work! 😂
Nice workaround to get a video of a non-videoable area. But I thought in the past the lego vault was in moving shelving that you turned with a wheel to open. I guess they outgrew that area, but the sunlight streaming in the windows of the new area does concern me.
Man I’m dying to go in the vault one day and wow it looks like they remodeled it
C'mon, no pictures with Brickstory, I wanted to finally see his face.
Hauptsache Bob ist am start!!!
@@elbarto6421 Na ja. Aber dem kennen wir seit einem Jahr wie er aussieht, warum jetzt nicht Brickstory!?
Thanks for the insight into the Lego Vault David, always wanted to go. Went to Denmark's LEGO Land earlier this year and it was incredible!
Wow what a great and well done video my dude! seriously! this captured the essence of LEGO and where the main brewing happens. You got to meet so many cool people and see so many awesome things. This has now been moved to my number 1 bucket list. Superb video 👏
If taking pictures in the vault were forbiden I'm sure David would draw the whole thing to make a flip book.
I visited LIT1 in 2023 and it was a rearl once in a live time event. It is worth every cent that it cost. Great people from all over the world, enthusiastic lego employees and many new impressions.
Bob Brickman international!!!
Great video! Thanks for making it and sharing your experiences
what exactly can you buy in the emloyee store? are there any older sets on sale and how high are the discounts? and is there a limited number of sets you can buy or can you buy like 20 different ones?
Incredible insight into the LEGO World
Also your camera is great in this video! Awesome cinematography!
just the exclusive stuff u can get makes the tour worth it wow!
Glad you enjoyed your time here in Europe ❤️👍
Wow looks amazing sets and awsome fun time
It seems that most people are unaware that it's not just about 3000$, since you have to register and wait to be picked from a huge crowd of people. I'm yet to get invited for one of those 😔
14:04 so amazing gave me chills
Nice trip cant wait to see ur vids back
I'm not a Die Hard fan of Lego, but I do buy some sets occasionally (I need the Rivendell set!) and to see this episode was a blast. Thank you for sharing this with us! Best regards from Sweden.
I went in 2018. Most amazing trip ever! The Vault looks much nicer now. And yes memories.....it's hard to explain to people how great it was.
did you get a nice Lego set from your tour?
I would kill to go to the Lego vault! I have always wanted to even since I have seen it pop up on UA-cam!
The mock builds were off the charts
Man it looks cool!
That's really awesome! Something I would consider in the future, thanks for the video :)
Thanks for Sharing your trip. Wonderfall
Sounds like if you take the tour you get more than what you paid for back if you chose to sell all the exclusive items 😂
The Pinkertons are coming!
Awesome David 😊👌💥💛
Wow great video man just class
Dang I kinda wanna do this
Wow, this is super cool!
I wish I was able to afford this
This is amazing dude
Nice Video, it was fun to find myself in it. Keep up the good work.
Awesome!
I checked the currency of 25 000 DKK to NOK (Norway) it is over 35 000! That is insane. I would definitely pay it as you get an exclusive set 🙂 Thanks for making this fun video, very fun to watch
We have family in Silkeborg and Gjesso. Is Denmark not just absolutely stunning? Love the VLOG!
Awsome episode. Don't know what else I can say to top notch insider prospective.
Solid Brix Studios, I hope you read this. After you mentioned in the video that you were invited to Lego in Denmark. I was wondering if perhaps maybe you can give them ideas of sets to do and maybe give them advice on how to improve their quality of sets and mini-figures. For example perhaps explaining to them how customers would prefer waste capes and more side arm and side leg prints.
I personally if I had the opportunity you have, I would have popped an idea to remake the UCS drop ship and AT-OT set in mini-figure scale in the coming years/ waves of Lego sets. It would dream to get that set again! And it wouldn’t hurt to make a mini-figure scale UCS AT-TE as well. ❤
Love your videos. Have been a long time supporter of yours since 2010.
When are you going to post XML for gunship we all Been waiting for 3 weeks
That's cool, that in my country (Czech Republic) we have this unique Lego factory you've mentioned! I was always wondering why so many people who sell big sets are from Kladno :D :D I wonder how they are getting those! :D
I was on the tour in July and we did not get that little mould element (incredibly jealous btw), but we were gifted the retired Lego House Dinosaurs.
We are excited to be part of the last Inside Tour this year in nearly two weeks :-)
Your tour review was absolutely amazing, at least to me. I am a lego’er only for about 2 1/2 years, but this tour would be a highlight of my ‘older’ life. What a fantastic time you must have had. Thank you for posting it…I really enjoyed it.
17:23 damn thats so cool
I have a model on display in the lego house. It's a man playing the banjo and I think it's in the Yellow zone. I submittied it through the Lego Ideas contest they have every year.
Hey David, is the bricklink xml file for the color swap gunship still coming?
Where is the xml flie for the gunship pls we want it ple
Thats awesome, did you hear about the legobstore opening I'm town center VA Beach? It's so cool having one 30 minutes away from my house
Nice vid
man that all looks amazing, but for 3000 what was the best part?
did you film all this on the Canon EOS R with the Rf 15-35mm? The footage looks awesome!
I spy a wild Ben Cossy!
This is Noice👌
Matt and DAVID HALL VLOGS AGAIN LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO
I think make it worth it spending over $3000 on this tour when you got that fire truck. I probably try to go once a year, to get a limited Lego sets. but I'm sure it very hard getting pick from lego.
🔥
Awesome video… I’ve applied for the Inside Tour in early 2024. Fingers crossed 🙌🏻🇩🇰
Man you gona get a cool set.
Registration for LIT 2024 has been closed today 10am CET
The Lego factory in Virginia is not the first Lego factory in the US. The was a Lego factory in Loveland Colorado that closed years ago. Good trip video.
Are you able to go the Lego house without doing the inside and still do some of the things you did? (Ofc some bits are definitely not open o public).
I Love your videos... i'm from Brazil
Hey I'm from Virginia too I was so excited to hear about to coming to Chesterfield! Will there be a lego store or a retail aspect that we could visit?
I was wo wondering if it was you in markus vlog in legoland😂
This was truly inspirational. I hope someday I can afford a trip to the Lego House. I would love to learn more about the manufacturing and history of the company during the tour.
So what your saying is that I can do every tour and profit off a selling the sets
W video
If it was me, I'd be too scared to touch the old boxes for fear of wearing them down from the oils on our skin
Your little molding machine is not limited edition. kind of. I got one too in 2023, but mine says family day
Baffles me that these die hard lego fans are completely comfortable handling the sets in Lego's official vault without gloves on 😂
At 1:00 its my MOC :)
Can anyone at 14:17 tell me now they made that cube that smooth OMG IVE STUDIED SNOT BUT WOW
So selling the exclusive set afterwards could cover the expense of going and more
That’s wild that people pay 5-6K for those exclusive sets. Some folks have endless disposable money I suppose
what is that "certain silhouette" ?
So did you find out who was responsible for the helmet holes??
Instead of paying 3k you can just get job there and get paid to be there😂
best lego collector alive
I'm surprised there are windows in The Vault
I think it’s safe to say if you have €3000 to spare and lucky enough to get invited, it’s a no brainer if this is a good investment 😂 putting €3000 in while getting €6000+ out of it? Lego fan or not, it’s a simple calculus.
Its reserved to rich ppl lol, 3000euros ++ for a trip
Wow, I wish I could do that!!! To poor though 😂😂😂
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Can you talk a little bit about the employee store discount??
35 people per tour and your set is number 13 of (!!!) 60?
What kind of a discount do they give in the employee shop?
50% to all products
Under 1 hour
So you could basically pay to go on this tour, then turn around and sell the set afterwards and walk away with a profit
Wow this looks amazing, I didn't even realise this was something you could pay for, I'll have to try to go one year
Why would anyone in their right mind pay over $5000 for that Lego insiders set if you could get it for $3000 if you participate on the tour.
Now do you have to pay for flight/travel to billund out of pocket as well (which would be in addition to the 3100$ usd price tag) or no?
Yup, flight was not included, so it’s your airline ticket + the 3 grand. Food and hotel for 3 days is included at least
I mean you sell the exclusive set and you paid for your ticket and price of admission
Cameron resume Toronto
1. Buy the tour.
2. Sell the exclusive stuff after.
3. Get your money back for the tour and book the next one.
Got it! :D
Bruh
right. because all LEGO makes is star wars sets...
