Dear Rabbi, I have a question what happens if someone put on their teffilan wrong such as the not putting the knot next to the arm teffilan box. Does it still count? What if someone misses a word or mispronounced a word in his or her teffilah does it still count?
If someone goes to the study hall and does not study he gets credit for going but not for studying. We get credit for the mitzvahs we do but even if he goes and does not study he should be encouraged to keep going because his going will lead him to also study while he is there.
Shalom, rabbi Gutman. I want to ask you, are there any jewish monasteries nowadays or something similiar to that, where jews can develop their spirituality, relationship with HaShem (meditation, prayer thing) ?
First the Jew must learn the Written and Oral Torah. This is taught in the Yeshivas. After he learns how to learn he begins his deeper spiritual search through Kabbalah and Chassidus
A Nazir had to fulfill the time period he took upon himself and then after that perior was over he or she would bring certain offerings to the Temple in Jerusalem. Now that we do not have the Temple there is no way for those offerings to be brought so no one is to take on a vow to be a Nazir
I love and respect so much the jewish people! God bless them forever and send peace for all of that country. They jews, Christians and muslins because we all came from Noah! But specially jews that are the caregivers of the torah! Amem, peace for Israel!

as on all Christian videos the comments are off, I just wanted yo say that Yashuah was that of which the Father spoke in Deutoronomy 18:18 and thus he does not contradict Jewish bible.
g-d's presence, he never spoke of himself, he did not know the future, but could see the thoughts of others. I think Yashuah never called himself g-d directly, to emphasise that he is one with him, but maybe not all of him, the face of g-d, the g-d's presence on earth, he had all the authority of things that can only Father can do (such as healing people and forgiving sins). Think of it this way, while most gods of other religions demand sacrifices for their own sake, people would kill the living vesels of life (animals and themselves) in the name of their god, flesh to flesh, spirit to spirit, flesh came to flesh (was eaten), now how grand would it had been then, if the Jewish g-d partook the pain of people, sacrificing himself for people instead
obviously he could not die then, (what has no beginning has no end) but he could bear the pain in fullest, the sufferings were the most important part of the "lord's Pessach"
I guess what I am trying to say is, if you think of Yashuah as g-d's best way to be with his people while not limiting himself, then you will get this perspective
I consider myself universalist, but I have deep roots in Christianity, however in orthodox churh we believe that God the Father, God the son and God the spirit are different personalities, however, I do not believe that no more. I am saying this just to say that I used to separate Yashua's character from g-d's character, but then changed my mind into believing they are one, in that there is only one character

Dear Mr. Gutman , I wish I can meet you in person Regarding your video "jew reads quran" why didn't you mention the whole verses mentioning the story between prophet Moses peace be upon him and the people of Israel... let me mention them (21) O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah 's cause] and [thus] become losers." (22) They said, "O Moses, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter." (23) Said two men from those who feared [to disobey] upon whom Allah had bestowed favor, "Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be predominant. And upon Allah rely, if you should be believers." (24) They said, "O Moses, indeed we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are within it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here." (25) [Moses] said, "My Lord, indeed I do not possess except myself and my brother, so part us from the defiantly disobedient people." (26) [Allah] said, "Then indeed, it is forbidden to them for forty years [in which] they will wander throughout the land. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."
Allah also said in chapter 1:83,84,85,86 (83) And [recall] when We took the covenant from the Children of Israel, [enjoining upon them], "Do not worship except Allah; and to parents do good and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and give zakah." Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing. (84) And [recall] when We took your covenant, [saying], "Do not shed each other's blood or evict one another from your homes." Then you acknowledged [this] while you were witnessing. (85) Then, you are those [same ones who are] killing one another and evicting a party of your people from their homes, cooperating against them in sin and aggression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their eviction was forbidden to you. So do you believe in part of the Scripture and disbelieve in part? Then what is the recompense for those who do that among you except disgrace in worldly life; and on the Day of Resurrection they will be sent back to the severest of punishment. And Allah is not unaware of what you do. (86) Those are the ones who have bought the life of this world [in exchange] for the Hereafter, so the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be aided.

The Rabbi has much wisdom. In his Response to a Pastor video, he uses the analogy of Yeshua as a Prince of the King. Princes are Anointed, so that would make Yeshua Meshiach? Anyway, I'm glad the Rabbi made this analogy, and agree with his message, but I know the Truth lay somewhere in the No Man's Land of the Middle between Christendom, and Modern Judaism. G-d healed my addictions the night I surrendered to Him and His Law / Torah, but His Spirit also testifies of sending an Anointed Son that died for my Sin! Religion is only mans best attempt at relationship in a commity form, but G-d wants relationship One on One!
Again, for the third time, he was never a prince to the Jewish People. He was never anointed. He cannot be the Meshiach. You do not follow the Torah. The Torah says that man was a curse to G-d.

Why invent things to fit your desires? The Talmud tells us the color of the skin of the Jews way back then when we were called Hebrews and later when we became called Jews. This means that back in those days our skin color was like the people of the Middle East today. Accept the facts and move on.
