As for the yellow hair - purple shampoo will help a little bit, but the only thing that will truly fix it is to go back to the hair salon and have them do more ash-based toner! Purple shampoo can ease the brassy shades that creep in after awhile, but it isn't strong enough to completely recolor hair that isn't fully toned the way you want it (i.e., still yellow).
have you tried amika bust your brass hair mask! it is truly the best on blonde hair and does not dry your hair out at all

Have you tried a charcoal shampoo instead of the purple? That’s what I use and it seems to give me better results and doesn’t stain the hair purple
