What a wonderful place! Reminds me of Avalon Marshes near Glastonbury. Kate, your dress is lovely, though I kept worrying you were going to get it wet! Would love to see what you are able to do with the jug.
Wow, look at how Oscar has grown. It was great to see the 3 of you out again 😊 it was so peaceful and beautiful in that area and it was so lovely coming along with the 3 of you. Thank you ❤😊
The fairy pipe is amazing and the milk glasss was quite a large one. Good finds and nice sherd story about the marmalade. I like a marmalade sandwich like Paddington. Thanks fr some ovely photography I really enjoyed it. So nice to see Oscar and as others have said he is growing up fast. I love his long hair. Stay safe all and mind those feet on the broken glass.
I really like the broken jug, looks like it is supposed to look like that, I wouldn’t repair it. I think the dog figure is Bonzo. Interesting about the marmalade Company moving to Guernsey. Didn’t know about this and I have lived in Guernsey all my life.
Ohhhh marmmmmmmalade! I love marmalade, morning, noon, or night on yeast or in a sammie, like Paddington...yummmmmo! 😂 love Oscar's hair. I now have a grand nephew, he too is an Oscar! ❤
I find that your videos all of them wonderful tranquil and so good for learning along with you and the wonderful information. I so admire your loving relationship you all share. Give Sonny a loving pet.😊 and a big hello to Oscar. He is a handsome young man.😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Oscar and Kate look so much alike especially when they smile. I love to see how much Kate loves and takes care of Oscar. They are such good kids. You should always take a set of plant nippers with you to make everything easier in the woods.
What an enchanting place. Lovely to see Oscar and who new marmalade and Monty Don would come up together in a sherd story. A beautiful video to watch thank you 💛🧡🤎
Watching Oscar, it reminds me of when I would take my son was younger I would take him out with me along our local river with his friends and we would find different things , clay pipe with the stem on, codd bottles still in tacked, fossils and he still has them, he is now 20years old
I did enjoy this family outing, the treasures and the marmalade story. I prefer orange or grapefruit marmalade with the rind, though I like the grapefruit a little more. That piece of dog statue was quite a great find!
That would be great! I think she is the perfect model ! I have bento Prague and saw the great exhibition of Alfonse Mucha, what a great painter he was! 💕
Watching this video I can hear my late father used to say to us x5 sisters and a brother " when in town keep your window down " meaning to look around all the time as you don't know what is under your feet
Your landscape photography is fantastic and the bird sounds are magnificent. Great video and great to see Oscar with all that beautiful hair 😊. That 1600's pipe is such a terrific find. 🌻🐕👑🥰🇺🇸
I'm with fleur regards marmalade and it's bits of peel, my mother used to make Christmas cake with lots of peel in it and as a child it was the only thing about xmaa I didn't look forward to.
I live in the States and a few weeks ago, I found a Keiller marmalade jar at a yard sale ( our equivalent to a car boot sale ) for the sweet price of $1.00! Thank you for featuring this on Sherd Stories! 😊
Well, another grand place for us to enjoy. I am watching as I am rescuing 2 broken dolls' house chairs from oblivion, and they may look okay if the mended parts are put wall-side and away from the light.
What an amazing jug that is..that it held together with such a crazy break and piece missing..gorgeous! And Bonzo..so cute you rescued him..great Sherd story as usual. It must be truly wonderful larking in that pretty stream..the fairy pipe was a gift! And hello Oscar
Re: Orange Marmalade.. I heard that Marmalade was popular w/poor people because it was a good source of Vitamin C (and actual Oranges were too expensive). P.S.: I happen to ADORE Orange Marmalade!
It was so wonderful seeing the three of you out together, Oscar is getting so tall !! Absolutely love watching your videos, beautiful places and so much love put into the filming of them. Can't wait for the next adventure to start my day with a smile and a happy heart. Thank you so much ! 🥰🥰 Hugs !
Oh my gosh Oscar got so tall and handsome. He was always very cute but now he’s a hunk. That little pitcher that was broken is very pretty. II hope it can be repaired. Another great video! Lots of love from Diane in upstate New York ♥️
Another entertaining stream walk in such a gorgeous setting, hose tails were in their prime, quite the show stopper! We are in agreement Kate, that style of pipe are our favorites, very happy for you. The varied styles of bottles were an enjoyable change from the norm. Good to see Oscar getting back into the mix of things.
I love watching your channel for a number of reasons including admiring your mudlarking outfits of the day. Fluer is predictable but Kate often surprises me with the exception of color choice.
Gosh Oscar has changed in the time since seeing him last. Time stands still for no one. 😊 This new place your larking looks very promising for interesting finds. Such a shame that a pretty natural wild area with running stream, so pretty at first glance, is littered so, with rubbish. (Treasure to some i know) Anyway, good luck on your larks there. The things you found were well worth going for. Loved that broken round bottomed glass jug. I'd love to see how you fix that. Awe and the little pipe was a nice surprie. I too like marmalade, but I'm not keen on the texture of any large chunks of peel in mine. It makes my teeth go on edge somehow. 🤪😅 I'm with you there Fleur. It was a very interesting sherd story, on how Marmalade developed. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes up next week. Xx
Oscar is growing up so fast! Handsome young man who’s so lucky to have such a beautiful and kind family ❤. The history of marmalade was truly fascinated. So many terrific finds. Thank you for bringing us along. I can’t wait to see where you’ll take us next time.
Hasn't Oscar's hair grown ...a lovely head of hair . What a pretty place... near where I live in Wiltshire there is a similar place... unfortunately no treasures 😔, I take my granddaughter and we go fairy hunting. Collect some of that wild garlic, it's so good added to soups and omelettes 👍. Another wonderful video 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hello 👋 from New York USA you guy's found some Amazing finds I was so happy to see Oscar back mudlarking with you guy's Thank you for bringing me along with you i can't wait to see what you find next 😊
That 18th century pipe bowl is incredible, and has it retained its black color! The Thames ones don’t,of course, but I was wondering if streamfound ones lighten up. I hope not,I love that dark color!!
That was a lovely place to go even if you weren't looking for anything other than to be outdoors. So many beautiful flowers, trees, and other plants. Still, it'll be interesting to see what the foliage was hiding. I look forward to that video. Thanks for sharing the nature scenes. I live in southern Arizona and don't see many 'untamed' streams of water. Nor such vibrant greens. You made my day.
Here in NZ we have had almost continual rain since February. We also had no summer this year to speak of, very unusual. Just storms and rain. As we rush towards midwinters eve, I can’t wait for better weather. Seeing the lovely weather where you are is so pleasant, makes my heart glad, it really does. Thank you for another gorgeous video. I got twangs of anxiety at the barbed wire, but you were obviously fine. Delighted at your finds, it’s almost as if I find them myself. Pleases my other half, as I don’t have to store them! The dog head was precious- you could fix that, no problem, milliput? 😊❤❤❤
What a magical place to lark, some great finds and the music was so relaxing to listen to. Oscar looks to have had a growth spurt, it’s been a while since we last see him.
So interesting. Thank you for that tid bit of info.I d never seen or heard of horsetails before..very cool ! Indians were ingenious by knowing how to use all kinds of plants and trees. Recently my husband and I were blessed by a park employee (USA) who has Cherokee background , who gave us a tree tour complete with some of the things they were used for. I d been interested in the Cherokee most of my life. And now that my husband is retired we have been studying them and have gone to 3 southern states Cherokee places. (Unfortunately most of them were WRONGFULLY forced on the TRAIL of TEARS from these states to Oklahoma!!) They were unjustly treated , lied to and stolen from over and over and over again) As a very young girl I was taken to an interactive Cherokee village and super impressed and glad that that area of Cherokees escaped the Trail of Tears..may it EVER be so!!
That was a very lovely place. All the bird chirps! Wow, Oscar is sure growing up. The dog is so beautiful with the crackling. I do hope you all go back, it looks to be a good spot to find some very interesting things. Also, the pipe was so tiny, very cool. Take care, waiting for your next video. ♥️🧓🌼🌺
What a delightful video! The scenery was awesome and Oscar is so handsome, he has really grown up. I truly hope that someone took a family photo on that amazing little bridge! Thank you , Ladies for sharing. Tell Oscar hello for us 💜💜💜
The only orange marmalade that I really like is the Elderflower/Orange marmalade from Ikea. It doesn’t have that bitter back bite that other orange marmalades seem to have. 🙂💖🐈🐈⬛
How lucky Oscar is to have a Mum and a sister who play in the mud! I love the dog the best of your finds. So nice that most of the face is intact and so much color is left.
What a beautiful place to go treasure hunting..Not a lot today but it was a lovely peaceful day in nature.I can’t get over how Oscar has shot up.He’s looking very grown up now .Glad you had fun..Love n Light to you all 🥰
Hello Oscar, nice to see. Here in my state we have to watch out for snakes. We have harmless snakes but we also have venomous ones, water moccasins, copperheads and rattlesnakes. Black bears are also making a comeback.
Hi Oscar! It was good to see you again. You've gotten much taller than the last time we saw you. Nice of you to go mudlarking with your mum and sister. Take care.
Gorgeous video, and the birdsong like magical icing on the cake…thank you ♥️

Oh, who, Oscar is not a child anymore, and so good looking! Just like his sister! 💕
Oscar and Kate look so much alike especially when they smile. I love to see how much Kate loves and takes care of Oscar. They are such good kids.

What a treat to see Oscar!

I would like to see an artist paint Kate in the style of Alphonse Mucha
That would be great! I think she is the perfect model ! I have bento Prague and saw the great exhibition of Alfonse Mucha, what a great painter he was! 💕
I see her painted by a pre-Raphaelite - but she seems to happy for that.
Totally agree
The only mudlarkers I’ve ever seen in skirts and dresses.I watch like 12 different channels! It just makes me smile.
Watching this video I can hear my late father used to say to us x5 sisters and a brother " when in town keep your window down " meaning to look around all the time as you don't know what is under your feet

Don't fix the glass jug so pretty broken 😊 big loves just got in from work love you pair xx
Kate, you need an antique dress clip to hold up your skirts and dresses so that they don't get wet.😉🧡
Beautiful video. Thank you.

That little pitcher that was broken is very pretty. II hope it can be repaired. Another great video! Lots of love from Diane in upstate New York ♥️
A lovely, relaxing video with the birds and gentle music. May I ask, why are they called fairy pipes?
Another entertaining stream walk in such a gorgeous setting, hose tails were in their prime, quite the show stopper!
