Anyway, they told fans to stay after the show for autographs and stuff. Debra singled me out and talked to me and my Dad. I was probably like eight years old. Super nice lady and very approachable.

Debra is so intelligent and so well spoken. They didn't do great things with her when she was performing OR maybe she's just not a great actor. But she seems so incredibly well spoken. Yes, she's beautiful still, but beyond that, she just seems so alert and grounded and her account of the business is such an honest one.

I have nothing but respect for her honesty and integrity because in my opinion, I think she was holding back some details and perhaps watering things down somewhat due to her classy nature. I loved Stone Cold growing up and still love him today but hearing these stories about him hitting Debra do change my perception of him a little. Thankfully, it would appear that he has healed whatever anger was inside him that made him behave this way, and maybe it was all down to the steroids and alcohol as Debra said. Interestingly, his second wife said in an interview that he never hit her.

When it is due to drugs and alcohol, it actually increases with the next one as a lot of times they see the past relationship as a failure on their behalf and it gets worse for the next woman, even though they're trying to change. Just don't want you putting the wrong information out there and getting some woman hurt. It's a serious issue.

I met Steve and Debra in Providence around 1999-2000 after a show. I snuck in the back of the building where all the wrestlers were leaving. Most wrestlers were turning away fans but Steve signed every autograph even though it was making them late for wherever they were going. I'll never for get!

When she said they’d do promos nobody would ever see, I experienced that first hand when evolution first formed. I would run a lot of the electrical wiring for the equipment and I heard HHH and Batista going back and forth with orton chiming in every now and then
Austin ran so hard all the shit he was drinking, lack of sleep, surgeries, traveling non stop, being the top guy carrying the load of that pressure as he said the wheels were coming off until they did! You add the divorce into the equation night before mania 19 he thought he was gonna die of a heart attack and wasn't cleared by the doctor to even wrestle but Austin delivered. Let's all never forget there is to sides to every story in their marriage. I've known women to make stuff up and when drinking will literally push buttons or hit u to get reactions. No female deserves to get hands but always to sides to EVERY story
Nice try. All of those things that Steve went through doesn't justify what he did to her. He himself admitted to beating her in his book. Don't know why people still find reasons to defend him. This is why she was afraid to come forward because you all see him as a star or hero and nothing else.
