This interview was too soft and friendly.. I get were trying to give the guys their flowers and show respect. But there's so many questions left unscathed.. you should have gotten down to some real questions.
@CALMEXMUSICGROUPTV1 Let's be honest, Aztec Tribe was one of the first to do it in SD. But there only recognized by a few records, Diego Town, Everybody Bounce, Straight from the Zone, Caught Slippin, and Cruising in my Ride... in that era, They were getting regular play on z90. They were doing shows and getting featured on magazines, but then something took a turn, and that's what the fans want to know.... what happened after the straight from the zone era???... the era that made them.. it seemed like they had all the backing, and when ur poppin ur poppin, u can't take ur foot off the gas... and to my knowledge, they fell off completely after that.. they tried doing the whole desperado thing, but they had a completely different style, a style that pushed the original Tribe fans away because it wasn't the Aztec Tribe everybody knew... it didn't seem organic. The radio wasn't giving them as much love either after the straight from the zone era... I just feel like there's so much more to their story thats not getting talked about. They are legends, and deserve their flowers, but we shouldn't tip toe around the real story..
