4Runner is arguably one of the best SUV's on the market. They are expensive, however, they offer a timeless design, unmatchable reliability, excellent resale value, and overall an outstanding truck.
Even though SR5 is at the bottom of the trim level that doesn't mean it does not have advantages over top of the line TRD Pro. For example SR5 has more load carry capacity than TRD Pro and SR5 can have more seating capacity than TRD Pro..🔥🔥
I love my 2019 4Runner, it's absolutely amazing. My only complaint is the interior gets scratched so easily. I try and take care of my things but with two dogs and wanting to go camping and off road trips it just scratches even using the hose attachment from my vaccum.
Thanks for introducing the ‘24 SR5! Jeff, on the SR5 Premium, the options package includes a Premium Package with Softex and Panoramic View Monitor cameras, but when you go price it out, it doesn’t give you that package option. Please advise. Thank you.
Grille looks much better than the TRD's, and the limited has tacky mexican looking chrome all over. Even fabric seats are niver than the weird fake leather stuff on the other ones
Hope Toyota never changes the 4Runner. Wish the world go back to the 1st gen 4 cyl naturally aspirated 2 door roll up windows no frills. I'd never buy a 4 cylinder turbo.
Wouldn’t mind buying a new 4Runner but still stuck on the mindset of getting my 97 Land Cruiser up and running. I work overseas and bought it in 2016 and not available to play with it. Retirement goal but if just not possible then a new 4Runner would be great.
Really like the cloth seats over fake leather garbage. But I think paying a bit extra for TRD ORP or Off Road is good because it will have KDSS (used in GX460 old gen, so very reliable and reduces body roll and improves ride quality). A-TRAC with more modes for different terrain types, making the vehicle ready for any situation that may arise. And a few bits of extra stuff, but i can understand why people opt for SR5 its basic and does 90% of what TRD ORP does. I personally am torn b/w RAV4 vs 4Runner and wifey has to say final word lol.
I love my Tacoma 4X4 off-road if i could go back i probably would of gotten a 4runner off-road both are hella good tho.. better than the new 1 coming out, you'll see 🙈 give it time ⌚
I'll have better numbers in May, but this is my initial price on the 2025 4Runner: SR5- $47,775 SR5 Premium- $54,900 TRD Off Road- $51,900 TRD Off Road Premium- $58,275 Limited- $60,900 TRD PRO- $64,900 (HYBRID ONLY)
Toyota may keep the 4Runner in the same format and let it (especially the Limited Trim) take the place of the outgoing Land Cruiser L200. Since it appears the US is not getting the "real" Land Cruiser and only a competitor to the Wrangler and Bronco. The Limited 4Runner is still a great looking SUV in its current form. In fact, better looking than the outgoing Land Cruiser L200.
I just don't know where the 4runner fits now with the LC 250. Same size, same chassis, etc. If the 4 Runner gets the same price bump as the Taco there would be significant price overlap. They could make the 4 runner less "off road" focused to create more market differentiation, but the Grand Highlander basically did that already. The only thing that makes sense to me is to make it smaller and more more off road focused to better compete with Wrangler and Bronco in that space, a sort of successor to the FJ. Otherwise I think they will just have most buyers forking out the extra $5k to get a land cruiser.
We just bought 2 4runners because they will be getting rid of the bullet proof drivetrain, its sad how the car industry is political and the next gen will have 4cyl turbo/hybrid. Next gen will be geared for younger generation buyers by cheap thrills tech and don't care if they last 10+ years like other OEM brands.
IMO…. Unless you’re buying a TRD ORP or Pro, wait till next gen… this SR5 is just too outdated and comes with ZERO basic modern features that other vehicles have had for 6+ years now. Reliability is about all you’ll get. And for like 12K more you can get a Pro that at least somewhat resembles a modern vehicle.

A conservative suv for folks who value and appreciate the old ways. Tough, reliable and durable. Designed at the time when cars are made to last.
Cars built today last longer than they used to. Cars used to rust out in 2-5 years and burn oil before 100k miles.
Of all the car reviewers on UA-cam the best one is a salesman and his name is Jeff.
Thanks so much! I actually am in charge of social media and not in sales anymore :)
Merry 🎄🎄Jeff, The 4Runner SR5 is the bargain of the 4X4 world!!🤩 Call me sentimental but this brand new 2024 4Runner is already a CLASSIC. 🥳🥳🥳
$500 off MSRP without trying means $2000 off if you break ballz. The times they are a changin'.

Good review! "Should have bought you dinner first"...LMAO !
If the TRD Pros are going for 57k+ right now…. Then expect next gen to cost 67+
I don't think its gonna be more than 2024 Toyota cruiser

I am definitely looking forward to seeing the all new redesign of the 4Runner in 2025.
Get em
While you can

Rest easy Jeff….it WAS funny 😂!
Yes!! 🙌
This exact 4Runner is $42,163 at Kings Toyota in Ohio.
Man I miss my 4runner had to sell it to save on gas. Now that I have a easy commute. I would love to own one again!
Love your review! 😁
Deserves so much more views!

12:55 I saw the airplane on the windshield! 😊
"At the car wash, working at the car wash" lol
This 4x4 SR5 trim a great value at ~$42k.
I LOVE MY SR5. I don't need the extras. Just that great toyota engine
3rd row?

Never too late. I just traded in my white 2022 Tacoma sr5 4x4 access cab 4cyl for a 2019 4 runner TRD off road.. Barcelona red! Best decision 😁
I want a 4Runner but am torn on which trim level I want. I like different trims for different reasons.
I'll have better numbers in May, but this is my initial price on the 2025 4Runner:
SR5- $47,775
SR5 Premium- $54,900
TRD Off Road- $51,900
TRD Off Road Premium- $58,275
Limited- $60,900
TRD PRO- $64,900 (HYBRID ONLY)
5:32 thats a bummer, you can't camp and sleep inside. I will keep my 2012 Pilot.
I hope they will improve the seat folding in next generation
@write2nick definitely, headroom is also not much compare to most SUVs

still 5 speed transmission?
Merry Christmas 🤶 🎄
Beautiful Runner....
The 2024 Tacoma price increase was about $5000.

Can delivery to Canada!

I'll stick with my 5th gen for the simple fact that 6th will be a 4 cylinder and elimination of power rear window..... RIP 4Runner
“Whittle wadder?”
3rd row?
Buts is the sr5 suspension same as trd off road ?
yes exactly the same
This car is a dinosaur 🦕 a 15 years ago is just the same car 😂
42k and no automatic climate control 😂
Boring old SUV from 2010. Enough already. It's reliable I get. Time to move on.
Yea give me them dam recalls, fires, roll aways...make life interesting. So tired of this.
Lol

12k is a lot
