Justin pointing out that he doesn't want AI / ChatGTP making these Munch Squad press releases reminded me of "The Dominator" Throwback and the true glory of having a human being write about these weird-ass promotional foods.
Given that George Harrison was stabbed by a deranged attacker 40 times in December 1999 despite his best efforts to defend himself, he either was not particularly strong or else his attackers was unusually so.
@@yourpalfred I guess maybe think of it this way: Fighting off a stabber you bring your "strength A-game". So you are at 100 percent power. Figure also that Harrison was a man of average strength, neither especially weak nor strong. So let's agree that his attacker had (deranged) strength on his side. Still: Harrison was not the strongest Beatle. That will go to either Ringo or Paul, simply on the basis that no one has been able to successfully murder either one of them AND/OR everyone who would want to *attempt* to murder them is perhaps too intimidated by their unusual strength.
This is so real, I have a baby sister now, and I’m a college student who curses ever so casually. That is very much so struggling to not teach this chubby cute parrot all sorts of words. I already have her rawring and head banging so I just- need to be a good influence
The muscles conversation reminded me, why do people on TV always cross their arms to take off their shirt? Nobody in real life does that, why is that the big celebrity maneuver?
The only reason I won’t sing the praises of the 2000s Wonka movie is because it’s star turned out to be a reeeeal piece of shit and I enjoyed him a lot in that movie so I cannot divorce the creator from the creation in this case. But objectively, it was a good movie. I would invite you to fight me but, again; piece of shit lead.
I don't remember another time when I've seen the title of an episode and just said "f#£% off" before No judgement, but I'm not seeing this movie unless you announce that Robert Downey Jr has a cameo in It as iron man
They’re not saying anyone has to see the movie. The whole Wonka thing was just an ironic bit they’ve been doing not unlike Man vs. Bee. Griffin even says he didn’t like it in their live reaction. It’s just a fun culmination of the bit
you know, i have such low tolerance for "light, distraction" style entertainment these days. mbmbam was one of the few i've kept, but hearing them talk happily about orgs or businesses that are actively causing harm - e.g. mcdonalds last week, chatgpt (and hollywood more generally) this week - has changed that. it's just grating. apolitic atp is actively violent and the escapism western audiences crave comes at too high a cost. ✌️
I don’t think they feel positively about any of those things. Munch Squad in particular is usually about how batshit stupid some of these corporations are. They know we live in a dystopia.
If you can so widely miss the point of a podcast about giving bad advice, there's nothing for any of us can gain from trying to explain it to you. Like.. don't consume ANY entertainment if that's your point of view. It's all guilty of being escapism.
Given that they spent almost half of last year not talking about new movies or TV shows because of the writers' strike, and one of their Munch Squads from last summer featured them saying "yeah, actually, AI is pretty fucking terrifying" - I can't help but feel like you've missed the point completely.
This was such a killer episode to start the year with! 😂💯 Hope you brothers had a wonderful Christmas/New Year break.
would you say it was... fun galore?
* Beyonce Gif Voice * DOLLIGHTFUL?!?! 🤩
Omg Dollightful's in the TravNation
I'm always here for the "Would a Sign Help?" bit returning, it really never misses.

Not a whisper about hugh grants performance, I need those wonka logs.
Am I absolutely bonkers or did they already do this wizard??
It's the name of the year. Fungalore is here to stay.
Dunno if it's the exact same one, but yeah, only about thirty episodes ago (660, Non-Fungible Tote Bags)
Edit: yeah, it's the exact same article.
So glad someone else noticed this, I was worried I was having weird false memories 😂
@@AmyLeeRadigan you best get used to Fungalore, he's here all year at the very least
how did none of them realize they already did this wizard like only 30 eps ago LOL

I'm wonking off so hard right now.
The Wonka Logs are the most wholesome field reporting I've ever heard
43:49 End of Moneyzone
Paul carried the band, yes, but Ringo had to fight trains.
The ending bit with the voice changes had me laughing so much! Absolutely fantastic energy for 2024, Fungalore truly has heard my wish.
there better be a clip of griffin’s mccartney impression
honestly the whole wizard segment needs a clip
I need to see why just looking at him doing it made Justin's neck hurt
It's Ringo, he's talking to Paul
Woof woof Fungalore Nation
That Dunkin’ doughnuts creamer ad absolutely wreaks of AI.
Griffin admitted “I didn’t like it very much” like it was a grievous sin
At what point is Trav Nation bigger than MBMBAM fandom?
Like there's gotta be some people listening at this point who don't even want advice. They just want to admire Him
I wonder if Fungalore will make a live action appearance for the live shows this year
He heard your wish
He is always within hearing distance so he WOULD be near by
The three brothers hog! A rare treat.
Finally the 420th episode!
Wonka was pretty damn good.
I cried but I cry for most things.

Bad news: Wonka was bad.
Also possibly bad news: To salvage the film, they are retroactively making Wonka count as Dune 2.
