OMG, Tesco Value was da bomb! Bring it back, Everyday Value just isn't the same. I loved the honesty of Tesco Value, its USP being "This is the crappiest but cheapest.". You can't argue with that. You pay 9p for a jar of coffee, you know what to expect. But you could get change out of a fiver for your weekly shop, I'll take that any day. Today's supermarket basic ranges have introduced a quality aspect to them, but you pay much more than you used to for them. Booooooo!!! If I want quality I'll buy ether branded or the mid range supermarket own brand. Keep Value as the absolute base line, a raw compromise between quality and price.
