The bitter reality of international students in Canada. My # tips: 1- Make sure you pick a roommate carefully. 2- If you can, find accommodation and a job close by so that you don't have to travel too much. As a result, you will have enough time to discover how this country operates and what skills are in demand. 3 - During your studies, find time to learn some skills that you are interested in. These skills will be helpful when you graduate. 4 - It is okay to say NO to your friends/roommates for a night out if you have an upcoming assignment or are scheduled for a job. 5- Manage your time and Prioritize your task. I hope the tips above are helpful. Good luck

Well guys , Canada 🇨🇦 is different now. My family left India in 1948 when the British left and arrived in Canada. I’m Anglo Indian ( no hard feelings ) I was born in Montreal.. Canada today is not easy for anyone coming here especially a student. However , stick to your game plan , stay focused and listen to your heart. You can succeed here with the right mentality. Good luck to all of you . Peace.
Studying there is tough, no doubt, but that's the bargain for studying in a foreign country and this is what student life is supposed to be like, I don't cal them issues. It's the process of adapting to a new place and culture.
Guys, one observation from my reasearch as person who wants to come to canada for masters. I see many people talking about earning money from the get go. That shouldn't be your focus at all! You are coming to this country to study and find a good paying job in your field of study. But what i see is many people thinking they'll go to canada just to earn money and nothing else. I'd say pay education loan after you get full time job. Meanwhile ofcourse find a decent paying part time job enough to pay for your day to day expenses. Spend most of the time for college and studies, after all that's what will get you good jobs.
I've started doing my chores in India. Also I thought Canada as Road to success but there are hurdles. It's not piece of cake. I'm coming in Fall intake fully prepared for best and worst days. That's what life is, you never know what's written in your destiny. Also thanks for this video.
Some additional pointers for newcomers It is easy to get into a comfort zone and make friends only from your own background or background similar to you. But try to get out of that habit as you can, and make friends with people from all culture. Canada is multicultural country with people from all around the world with different ideas and outlook. Keeping an open mind and interacting with them will help you get rid of your own biases and develop new outlook. Canadians born in this country (any race) normally have are welcoming, receptive to immigrants and are liberal - this will be a big shock for new immigrants. But try to accept that. If you are able to get rid of the "Indian culture is the best" bias, you will be able to make new friends from all background. For vegetarians, accept the fact that lots of people eat meat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Avoid judging people based on their diet. Never ask anyone about their marital status or kids - Marriage is a private matter, and people could be divorced, or have live-in relationships, sometimes with people of their own gender. Same -sex weddings have been legal in Canada since 2005. Never talk about religion in public or among friends. Religion is a private matter. Also, do not ask how much money one makes. And the most important. Invest in some good branded deodorants, after shaves, perfumes and anti-perspirants and use them liberally. It IS A BIG DEAL.

You are right! Lots of UA-camrs portray a good student life in Canada. Many students opt for Windsor, and I think it is flooded with international students. You will face issues with depression, homesickness, and maybe racism also. I suggest, Choose the proper province. Search for an excellent part-time job that will help you in the future. Search for a good roommate with whom you can mingle. Make Canadian friends who can help you.
Salute to you man what a video non stop you were talking and every word worth listening too,my sister gonna come to KITCHENER i was watching for her i'll tell her everything you explained.
Search groups on Facebook according to college/course name. Post your queries and talk to people there, eventually you'll end up in whatsapp groups and connect with students one on one and make friends from here to accompany you to Canada. Moreover, you can follow the college/university on their insta handle and find people over there too. Also try a shot at linkedin to connect professionally and build network. I do not know which stage you must be at, but this should suffice for starters and later you'll figure out on your own only.

You are right! Lots of UA-camrs portray a good student life in Canada.
Many students opt for Windsor, and I think it is flooded with international students.
You will face issues with depression, homesickness, and maybe racism also.
I suggest,
Choose the proper province.
Search for an excellent part-time job that will help you in the future.
Search for a good roommate with whom you can mingle.
Make Canadian friends who can help you.
I'm going to Windsor to haha😂

Salute to you man what a video non stop you were talking and every word worth listening too,my sister gonna come to KITCHENER i was watching for her i'll tell her everything you explained.
Bro, Is there social media groups for indian students for communication purpous
And also Can you say about the public transport....
Sahi kiya bhai ty so much for that👌👌👌
The best thing is to settle down in strange cntry is always stay positive... Aur jitna jaldi truth except kar le utna easy ho jata he set hona.. Aur pehle k kuch years bhul hi jana padta he but trust me uske baad wahi life hame bhot achhi lagne lagti he... Aur sahanshilta rakhna bhot jaruri he...
Thank you for this information 👍

Thank you, for this wonderful information. Many people look at the Instagram posts of Canada and feel like that is a bling-bling lifestyle. But the reality is way different. Real and Reel are different. More power to you.
