Ooh nice - I used to enjoy riding in the Rosley-Cumdivock area.
I know what you mean about the local accent, they say 'Brethut' for 'Braithwaite', sometimes rolling the 'r' like a Scot.
I'd check the Malt BB & try your best bike before you write your sportive fitness off.

Yes, I must look at the Merlin before I go on holiday. I do have a Hope BB unit to fit at some point. Might just do that and see.

I am really hoping stuff falls into place. I do seem to have picked up another cold that’s doing the rounds at work. Fingers crossed it’s just a day or so. Roll on Majorca. 2 more get ups as my Dad says.

It seems to be taking its time this year for the good weather to break. 53 days to the Fred Whitton there is still time to get fit. but only you will know if you are up for it.

Hi Duncan. I’m going to do The Lakeland Loop then make my call for The Fred after that.
I was going okay on holiday, but now I’m back my knee is sore again. Towards the end of the holiday it did settle down. We shall see.
