you are such a great story teller and I love hearing all your stories. I love the 20-something-Winnie story time idea (but honestly, all the possible topics sounds excellent, so it's hard to pick just one!!)
Just found your channel today. Love your soft whisper and love that you have helped so many families and children. Until I taught public school, I never realized the situations that so many children are dealing with. Thank you!
Love your story time videos! You tell stories so well! While heartbreaking 💔 those kids were also fortunate to have you impact their lives in that time for them .
As a psychology major I love hearing these stories! Although social work is kind of a different field, the classes and the ideals overlap each other. Plus I’m relaxed! Love this Winnie. Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to hear more. 😇☺️
Great storytelling, and very interesting to hear your experiences. Would love more videos like this. I like all those options but 20 something stories and social work stories both sound fascinating
I really like the up close whispering in this video. I enjoy hearing your stories about social work but would love to hear how you became a manager at Walgreens. I find that to be an interesting career shift
My response to every video subject story time suggestion u made and to liking u talking up close to the mike is a serious yes please. This video being first thing suggested when I opened UA-cam today made me very aware of this and it feels like it needs to be said and in particular to and for u. So when I saw ur thumbnail, it was an instant deep breath of gratitude and excitement at seeing ur face again. And then this feeling of calm at feeling like I could now exhale and release the pent up anxiety I had just had last night watching UA-cam and thinking on how I’d wish u had a new video up so I could see u again. And then this wave of emotionally charged energy got me all choked up at my newest realization hitting me. And it’s that ever since the day u posted ur video telling us that ud had a heart attack, I’ve not thought on it consciously, it’s just become a part of my daily life, but I don’t consider u as someone I just know about and watch in here. Ur more like my lifetime friend who I just haven’t ever met yet. But the reality of it all is that all info really know about u is what u share with us and mostly on here. And even more over still, that all u know about me (or of my even existing) only come from the few random words I’ve shared with u across a smattering of ur videos. And it made me so sad to know that, to myself, in my own little world, and to what has become of, or what I guess I’m now willing to accept as being able to claim as being what my life actually is, that it’s literally just me in it and the things I watch on here or on Tubi, my mom thankfully still being here even though we hardly speak while living in the same apartment as her and only when she’s up to communicating with me. And aside from her and the rare few occasions where someone I either hardly see or who someone else who just simply doesn’t consider me to have as much importance in their life as I did them in mine. The reality to me is that I care about u with the same level of regard, if not even more highly, than I do and have for the people in my own surroundings and life who I interact with. And just in my knowing about ur health issues and in feeling how much we have in common and the similarities in personality traits and points of view that we seem to share. I’m just so happy to have had u come into mt life even if it’s all just mostly made up in my head about what I do have of u in my life. I just want to say thank u so much just for being I and sir my getting to know u for being that exact person!!
Hello! My favorite asmr artists for sure. And for few years now. Love ALL of the videos, but my favorite ones are the magazine flips with gum /candy chewing. I've noticed you haven't been doing those as much. I hope you are planning on doing more of those as well. I keep watching the older ones to fall asleep to. 😊 Hope you're doing well!
Oh no!!!!! I just saw in the description that you’re having tech issues!! I’m so sorry to hear that, that’s so frustrating. Hope you’re able to get everything worked out and set up ok!!
Hi Winifred. I just love your meal/storytime videos. I would really be interested to hear more about your career--super interesting. Thank you as ever! : )
Hi Winifred! I would appreciate you sharing more social work stories. I enjoyed this video so much. I like you, also work with providing social services and it’s interesting to know how other counties work with DCFS.
This was such an interesting video to watch! I currently work for my County’s Child Welfare Services, but as a Legal Clerk (more case management than clerking really) so I review and process all of the social workers’ reports, warrants, petitions, and other documents for Court. It’s definitely and interesting yet difficult field to work in reading about some of the situations these kids are in, but it’s also rewarding.
@@rzy4701 nope I don’t. It’s not required for my particular position based on how my county classifies it. The requirements were 2 years experience in a legal office or criminal justice field OR one year experience as a county Administrative Assistant III or equivalent. I was an AAIII for about 10 months with a clerical background from previous jobs, plus I was in the process of obtaining an Associates degree in Criminal Justice, though I still haven’t finished it.
@@rzy4701 the legal route is definitely more behind the scenes which is what I wanted. I wasn’t looking to specifically be involved in social services, I just wanted something in the legal/criminal justice field and this is where I ended up. My experience has been good, but my situation is a little bit different in that my county’s description of a legal clerk is much more administrative I.e. making copies, filing, distributing documents, etc. but that’s not what we do so we are in the process of getting reclassified. We case manage and have to be aware of what is going on in the case to make sure the social workers are making the correct recommendations to the Court and filing the correct documents. Not everyone can handle the stress and the volume of work. Having the education in social work would definitely be helpful as far as having a better understanding of the process, but as long as you can work well under stress, have good attention to detail, can multitask, and aren’t sensitive to the subject matter, you’ll do fine.
@@rzy4701 I’ll also say that changing my major was the best decision I ever made even though I never finished my degree. I started out as a business major and hated it. Switching to something I was ACTUALLY interested in made all the difference and something like criminal justice still has a ton of different career options in several settings.
@@rzy4701 that’s exactly how I felt about my degree which is why I haven’t finished. I started this job while still taking classes and couldn’t do both from just being too exhausted. The paperwork isn’t that much of a hassle, it’s pretty straightforward and at least at my job we have examples of every form so we know how to fill them out , it just kind of depends on what it is cause some things are more involved than others.
Yes, at times it can be very rewarding, but it can also be very emotionally draining. That is one of the reasons that this field has a very high turnover rate. long have you been working in this field?
I cannot stand the sound of people whispering so I cannot for the life of me understand why I like your videos...there's something about the sound of your voice that puts me straight to sleep lol. Take great care and be well Queen 😊🙏🏽
I did stick with this even though I'm not a mouth sounds fan ☺, but I really wanted to hear your story and I'm glad I did. When you talked about those boys falling asleep with your car heater..🥺💦. I would love more work stories, and I would love❤ some non-eating ones if you would be so inclined. Up close is great. Whisper or soft spoken is all good! Thank you🌻
Hi beautiful Wini ❤❤ can't wait to watch this video ❤ sausage egg and cheeses are so delicious!! I'm sending a card to your PO box tomorrow ❤ love you hope you're feeling well ❤
I loved your story ❤️ my major is sociology I have one year left.! I want to go back to get my masters and potential doctorate in psychology. I want to be a mental health therapist I’m still torn on exactly what age group and where I would prefer to work but I will try different internships And gain experience! your a strong women I know you impacted so many lives ❤️
Hi Winifred! Your other eating video talking about your time in social work is one of my favorite videos. I'm excited to watch this one!

Thanks so much. Teaching is not easy either. Thanks for providing a safe place for the children for a few hours out of the day.
Real soothing to hear and enjoy your whispering.

I'd love to hear more stories. I remember when I watched one you posted before and that one has still stuck with me. You're a good person Winifred.
