Jersey City Fire department has 4 firehouses that have one door and 2 rigs in there , and there really old classic firehouses. Jersey city is much bigger Department & is the city to the south of Hoboken & JCFD usually puts out most of Hobokens fires when they get something bigger that a one room fire
Skyler fire did u ever video inside Hobokens Fire Museum? Its awsome great old pics & old equipment from the days when Hoboken was Burning in the late 70s & early 80s .
Some of the trucks had cab roof-top warning lights that were not functioning. Looks like some of their equipment needs some maintenance service. Just my thoughts as a former firefighter/driver engineer.
It used to get tons of fires in the 70s and early 80s when it was ghetto , buts it been Gentrified all rich Hipsters bought up all those old beautiful Brownstones, it's a beautiful city now. 90 % of Hoboken FD runs are false alarms & Medical 1st responder calls . If they get a major a fire Jersey City comes and puts them out .
Love the video and would like to see more of individual departments. Old fire stations are fantastic...full of character!
Thanks I will try
This is fantastic, thank you! I wish every city had such a video!
I wish I could do more
Awesome. I never really noticed any firehouses with multiple apparatuses with only 1 bay door to exit from before Interesting!
Welcome to the old firehouses

You know Hoboken is busy when you're on your way to a call, and at the same time, passing a call.
Yes they are thanks for watching
Awesome video I like the old classical firehouses. Back in the days men eat smoke with iron lungs.Keep up great work.

If your talking about Engine 1 it was in its last week of operation.

FYI The Late Great Frank Sinatra was Born in and Lived in Hoboken NJ his Father was a Fireman too
Yes I was born on Frankies Bday I know a lot thanks
Interested to know why almost all of the trucks are responding from houses that don't coincide with their number
E5 was closed
E6 was closed
E2 was moved to L2
E1 reopened and is riding with L1
@@SkylerFire wow, lot of reorganizing. thanks
Is this like a new thing your gonna start every firehouse responding individualy from every city or town ?
Maybe
We've only got one 🚒 station here in Oxford Ohio
My favorite is Engine 4 love the Eone Emax what year is that do you know

That egress may have been great for horse's but that sucks for a engines and ladders.....
Yeah thanks for watching
Old school I love there kinda firehouses , I cant stand the modern big firehouses with no character or history
Surprised no tillers
Tillers don’t work for them anymore. Streets to tight
@@SkylerFire that's why I thought of tillers
@@johnshowers1048 Years ago they had Tillers that's why they can fit 2 rigs inside the firehouse
@@SkylerFire Tillers are for tight Streets.
