I wont play TWW (or any retail ever) but i have to say it looks good.
If they're giving us Cataclysm Classic at an accelerated pace that alone should be all the evidence we need to know that we are going to get MoP Classic. They would not rush us through Cataclysm to simply end this line of the Classic Saga. If they weren't planning on giving us MoP Classic Cataclysm Classic's phases would be getting released at a snail's pace. I really do not understand how it's even a question.
MoP Remix has nothing to do with Classic. It's literally them giving the retail players something to do while they wait for War Within.
i run a pug guild and we never check logs. we've been finding that the people that talk the most about logs are the ones least likely to engage with mechanics and most likely to cause raid wipes and leave after raid wipes. they'll often never engage with threat as a mechanic either and get mad a tanks for not having enough threat even though pug tanks should build more mit/stam because you cannot trust lfg healers to understand the concept of a mana bar. i probably parse gray a lot because i spend more time looking at the rest of the raid and figuring out how to assist with any mechanics i can. i wish that gdkps were still in the game so the fact that me and the people in this pug guild are optimizing for clearing the boss and carrying potentially bad players would be a bit more appreciated

my partner and i were planning on making a horde guild on chaos bolt and they and another guildie made characters over there and transferred them over to CS where we have our alliance characters, it's really cool
i feel like you find the runes way more time consuming than i find them to be because you main rogue. if you've just got like 1 spec you wanna play most classes have only like 1 annoying rune, the profession quests are more time consuming than the runes, though i do think some kind of catchup thing tied to that rep would be neat
Yeah its hit or miss. As Rogue, I want them all but my Hunter, Warrior and Druid don't have everything.
You're a bit off with MoP Remix. It is not a separated version of retail or anything. It IS retail. You can select it in the character creation tab. It is an alternative way to level up your char. If you're done, it continues into retail.
That said, MoP remix has absolutely nothing to do with Cata/MoP Classic. It s a new PvE fun mode Blizzard introduced for people to level fast and get old & new cosmetics. Even the devs confirmed it today in Crix' interview.

Remix is just a PVE event for retail, it has nothing to do with classic, the thing that truly made MoP one of the best expansions was the class design. The remix experience is the retail game but playing through SoD-like content
My main Raid in SoD is paused till Phase 4. The Raidleads want a break and also play some Cata. I am not pissed but kinda sad. At the begining of SoD we had 1000 Member (and more that wanted to join) and now most of the Time they are only about 5 Player online if there is no raid. I also dont play that much, because I always use the time end of Phase to Raidlog and play some other games. But I know when a raid is paused not everyone will come back. I dont want to play Cata, i even uninstalled wotlk/cata so I stop myself from login. I just want SoD not to die. SoM was a mess too, but I had a tone of fun. If my Raid is not come back together with some of my boys I might quit too and then I am done with WoW for the next Fresh/Season Server.
1:47:58 a replay system in WoW would be HUGE.

Imagine if we could rewatch our BGs, Arenas, Dungeons, and Raids from a spectator mode!
I know we could just record it ourself and rewatch it but it would be cool if we had a better way.
Or even a Warcraft Logs overhead view of the BG!

Cataclysm is poppin at the moment, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I'd much rather play through three raid tiers I've never played before for a year than playing through MC again. If I never step into MC, BWL or Naxx again, it'll be far too soon.
Cata do be poppin and its a good vibe. People shit on Cata and Ill never know why. The PVP was good, there are some great raids, and rated battlegrounds come into the classic foray. Its an old story in this wow journey and it has just enough retail flair to appeal to a wide range of players. I think the first few phases of Cata are going to pop off more than pre patch.
Yeah I'll be honest, I'm worried about that too.
Ended up rerolling warrior this phase from melee hunter since I was going to get forced to play ranged to bring TSA. Melee hunter is now just like a worse rogue or warrior that brings nothing to the raid.
So mop remix drops and 4 days latter is cataclysm classic.
Fair, but two completely different crowds.

I think we all know Blizzard is dreaming of a day they combine the retail & classic playerbase.
Maybe that's what they thought they were gonna do with MoP remix?..
They forgot too many people wanted MoP as it was already.
They could care less, a subs a sub no matter which version of the game you're playing.
I do think the remix expac idea is great for future seasonal realms but I just think it's odd to do MoP remix before classic MoP.

The pvp Test 2 felt good.
I don't think healing needs a 30% reduction at all. That part makes no sense. 20% was fine.
I am a classic andy, personally i cannot wait to play mop remix. Very relaxing as it just a means to get cosmetics. No min maxxing the joy out of raids. And i get to experience mops story without rushing myself to end game. If only they have the option to transfer my progress from classic to retail.
There is more to life than WoW.. but you guys will never understand 😂

Funny thing about that is sod will last longer than Cata. I’m going to have fun with Cata but let’s be honest it’s pretty much a waiting room for mop. After phase 1 all you ppl who keep saying Cata hype will be gone and be board of it.

Kind of a doomer take on mop. I think they are releasing remix to get people feeling nostalgic about it so when they do mop classic they will have more players
Idk I could see it having a reverse affect leaving people feel like they already had their MoP classic with MoP remix...
The problem with that is there are many players of the classic community that would rather wait for regular classic MoP and if it never comes that would suck...
Idk MoP remix doesn't really make a lot of sense to me right now.

MoP & WoD were probably my favs.
Feral Druids were insane in WoD when they could cast spells in Cat Form lol I would love to play that again.
I know Legion has a pretty big amount of hype around it.
Maybe they should have waited and done Legion Remix and have that be where they combine retail and classic?...

I think SoD is in for a rude awakening real quick after most the player base reaches level 60. The Cataclysm haters are going to flock back in. It is just better class & game design. SoD is a fun experiment for Blizz to Beta test a classic+ in a couple years.
People play SOD because they suck at the game, they swapped from Warth to SOD because they couldn't clear ICC heroics. Now they try cata but realise really soon it's harder then Ulduar and ICC were. Back to sod, hopefully they delay phase4 until cata has been out for a few raid lockouts. Do you think an average player who whined about ST pre nerf difficulty and content 2 hard to pug, is clearing heroic 10 mans in cata?
Super dumb take @choicedsg. I for one moved to SoD instantly at launch, after clearing Wrath ICC heroics for months. I'm sure many others did the same. Have fun thinking you are superior... just know its not real life :)
