11:43 No pain no gain 💞 The best thing to do, especially with casters, is expand your action bar. At high levels, even 4 bars are too few for all the stuff you can do. You just need to click the little + on the right of the action bar.
1) That level up session for all characters was so reasonable and well thought I could cry! 🥲 Terribly moving. Just needed more ability score increases, but you could always get those next time you get feats. 5 / 5 2) Shadowheart is a cleric with high Wisdom. All her spells *except one* scale with Wisdom. Fire Bolt is a racial spell and scales with Intelligence, instead. Not her greatest asset. So it will almost always miss. Therefore, if you have a far away enemy you need to hit... *ANY OTHER CANTRIP, ANY OTHER SPELL OR A SHORTBOW* is always better. 3) A downed party member isn't dead. In fact, they're trying its hardest to stay alive. Therefore, instead of ignoring them and letting them to die, the smartest move would be helping them with the help action or healing them before they die. Remember that Shadowheart and a lot of builds have healing spells as *_bonus actions,_* as well, so you basically save one of your characters and bring them back into action without wasting a turn.
GWM is only marginally useful at lower levels due to the penalty to hit without respecing. It is much more useful later, but you're going to have to disable it for high dex mobs, unless the dice are very kind.
I’m so happy I made you proud with my leveling session! 😭 I’m starting to get it! 😭🎉 Very useful tips you left here, especially the one about Shadowheart and Fire Bolt! Thank you so much. ❤️
Always important to remember that, in games like this, the computer might think a piece of armour or weaponry is "better" or "worse", but it's up to you to make the decision. Remember Skyrim? You whack a double enchantment and a huge upgrade on a piece of ebony armour, then it assumes your bog-standard daedric armour is better. I can't say for certain that this happened when you were looking at the new piece of Light Armour here, but remember that you're smarter than your PC. I am not sure if I'm comfortable with the "scenes of an adult nature" when you get with your goblin friend, but at least we know it's detailed enough to cover pretty much every situation. Shadowheart has some depth to her, right? Her story is one of the more interesting in the group. A great playthrough as always. I hope the owlbear doesn't try to eat/fight/mate with your dog.
Femke, Aid is not a combat healing spell. It is used to boost max HP before you enter combat. It lasts until your next Long Rest. It scales with level: it grants a boost to your total HP and can be applied to more party members as you level up, eventually giving your whole party +25hp. It's something you cast directly after waking from a Long Rest every time, like Speak with Animals or Longstrider or Mage Armor.
Using Abilty Score Increases as a feat is great BUT ability score bonuses only occur on even numbers, so its not useful to blow two points into a score to get to an odd number, unless you then later plan to fix that with another feat or item, so you get the even number boost. For the pre rolled characters Larian gives you, its useful to respec them all as they all have odd numbers in ability scores their classes dont use. There is very little use having a 13 INT on a cleric for instance. If you respec you can pump all that almost worthless ability into WIS to 20, and then DEX for AC/ranged, for instance.
41:15 Strength based characters like Lae'zel can jump a long distance, and using just a bonus action. She can reach far away enemies pretty easily if you do that 😉
6:30 it means to use 2 handed weapons, like a greatsword for example 13:50 honestly id advise against giving into the poison your trying to go against but do what you must. but if your already a powerful class (like Paladin), then no need for parasite enhancements, but it only be too extra. btw you dont need to fight all the goblins outside the goblin camp, you could just use the waypoints to get out of there, but yet again, killing them all means you get there stuff and more xp.
I didn’t know I could fast travel, I hate myself so much rn. 😂 And yes! Two handed weapons, thank you! After many years of gaming my brain really went “let me just forget that one specific thing 🤡”.
@fififemke yeah 2 handed weapons are for weapons that need two hands, but you where thinking about dual weilding, which is 1 handed weapon per hand., but no biggie,
Great thing about this game btw :P It's not keeping you for a baby, who needs a guidebook for everything. It speaks with it's player on equal grounds. I wont tell ya what to do, cuz you're doing great for somebody who haven't played D&D before :3 Btw - another thing; Same goes for the companions - this game won't tell you what to pick, what is better, e.t.c. Instead it will make you feel like you didn't wasted your time anyway And even better - In some cases will not even block other options if you already picked something Oh, this lack of specifics... *Astarion's laugh* A-haha (no wander this guy won an award for voice-acting this role, since he acted the shit out of this character :3) BTW N2 - Usually if you ask a character in a game to do something, and he gives you a nat20 (crit. success) the world tries to tell you something :P (25:23)
Thank you so much for your D&D compliment, that means alot fr! 😭❤️ Astarion’s laugh is *hilarious*: A-hahaHA! 😂 I actually found out he voiced another character that I really love: Resident Evil 8’s villain Heisenberg. When I found out about it I had to rewatch his scenes! Truly an amazing voice actor. 🤌🏻

You could have fast traveled out of the goblin camp anytime, but it's much more fun to fight your way out 😁Expertly done my dear. GF ⚔You still need to expand your hotbars, a lot of your spells (and Shadowheart's) are hidden. Don't forget to get Karlach before you go back to the grove. Your build is fine, the guides are highly overrated. Eldritch blast and Tasha's hideous laughter are both OP AF 😁
@@fififemke Fifi!!! You exited your cave LOL. Yeah, you can fast travel anytime the minimap isn't red, but you would have missed out on all of that juicy XP though 😁
Girl we’d be so annoying. The cult and I would live on a farm with a 1000 animals (taken care of by paid employees, petting only for us 💅🏻), wine flowing from the taps and karaoke bars in every room, muhahahah! Oh and nap rooms, lots of napping rooms. What else? 🤔 A cinema style gaming room with chairs you can convert to beds omg
When is this happening because I'm there. 😂 For real, that sounds like such a dream. We'll get a grand piano somewhere so I can play on it and even lead some of the sing-alongs!
I didn’t think I’d enjoy it this much tbh. 😂 It’s really hard to get into without D&D experience, but now that I’m starting to understand the system it’s really fun!

Ahhh of course, I thought I had to drag it! I already felt clever that I found out that it’s draggable. 😂 I’ll try your tip in the next episode. 🫡
