Toronto UNDERGROUND Network PATH Pedestrian Walkway Winter 2025 | Eaton Centre from Union Station

Explore PATH, a 30km underground passageway in downtown Toronto. The best way to start is at Toronto Union Station; walk up to Eaton Centre without a car, which is the best underground, about 20 minute walk. PATH is open every day. It connects shopping and entertainment underground, 28 kilometers long. This system of underground tunnels links Toronto's largest office buildings and attractions via underground passages. PATH links to some of Toronto's most popular tourist, entertainment, and attractions, including the Hockey Hall of Fame, Roy Thomson Hall, Air Canada Centre and CF Toronto Eaton Centre. However, City Hall is also connected via PATH.
Canada is known for experiencing very cold winters, the city of Toronto is located in the north of Canada. In winter, temperatures can reach -30°C; most people take this underground PATH route as the best way to escape the snow and rain. According to the Guinness World Records, PATH is the most underground network of walkways in downtown Toronto; it is the largest underground shopping center in the world.
