New farm pigeon shooting

- in this video , I'm on a new farm after I get a call from a farmer who has trouble with pigeons damaging his crop.of peas . I am joined by Chris from CJW sporting , who again kindly comes along just to help me setup also help out for the afternoon.
The action starts off really well with the pigeons coming thick & fast as I down 20 in the first hour , then things slow down dramatically.as they move onto a barley field a few fields over .
After a discussion with Chris he suggested the best thing to do was have a quick move only taking 3 hide poles , net , gun , and cartridges, then come back to pick the rest of the kit up when we finish , we move over to where the pigeons were coming back from the barley filed . Again the action starts of fast with plenty of birds coming . It was again short lived as they soon dried up again they changed their flight path .
so we callledit a day headed back to our first spot to pack away .

It’s full choke for steel . Im shoot everything with it now from clays to geese .

Well you did better than us on Monday 26th july, watched a wheat field sat and sun with plenty of birds coming to the field and a steady flight line up the centre, so invited some one for monday, we got set up for around 2 ish and expecting things to be steady away by 3,30-4 ish but it never happened ? just no number of birds in the area at all, and hardly any birds in the sky, where they had gone i dont know but i will find them, told the guy who came with me it would not be 100 bird + but a steady 50 ish, we ended up with 4 and its the least amount of pigeon i have seen for 25yrs but they where there the day before in reasonable numbers,,,

Hi , I’m using a pattern master Anaconda mid Range . Choke .
Cartridges are RC 2 . 👍

Dewayne what gun are you using is it a Beretta semi auto inertia or gas and is it better then Browning Maxus which is gas operated, is the Beretta softer.
Hi , I’m using the beretta A400 . I’ve Never used a Browning Maxus . It’s very good on recoil with the gel recoil pad .

Ciao scusami se le scrivo in italiano ma io svolgo questo tipo di caccia nel periodo di Settembre nei campi di grano tagliato, le volevo dire se c’è un modo o uno schema nel posizionare i piccioni di plastica a terra… per ora ho solo capito che vanno tutti con la testa contro il vento e distanti uno dall’altro 1 metro… grazie mille se mi aiuterà anche in inglese ❤️
