Hello i have k40 gaming but it shows its display is amoled (aida64). I think caused by rom. Is there any rom that brings oled display. Cuz they give poco f3 gt rom (which phone has amoled) .
@@mehmetozgurduzel239 all K40 Gaming Editions are using OLED screens, it's the same as in the Poco F3 GT. There is no difference in the screens in these two, do I'm not completely sure what you mean.

That's unfortunately not possible with the stock poco launcher, if you want that then you need to install another launcher.
Please must it be the Indian version can't the global version be used cause I reside at Nigeria
There is no real Global ROM for this phone. Only China and Indian ROMs are available. The Indian ROM is the so called "Global version" with all languages and regions + Google Services.
Hey dude I appreciate your video. I followed every step to the letter. But somehow the rear RGB led worked for a bit then stopped. It was the reason I flashed.the phone in the first place. Any fixes for the RGB LEDs?

You need to enable LED in the settings, it works fine in both ROMs, but must be the latest versions also.

Should be the same yes, but bootloader has to be unlocked. I don't know the ROM features for 11T sorry.

You can flash the official K40 Gaming Chinese ROM, then you have NFC back again. The Poco F3 GT ROM will never have NFC as that model doesn't support NFC.
What phone model and firmware do you have right now?
Hello is the chinese rom support all feature? and after flashing it, it will be support by OTA updates automatically or just do the manual if there are new version release, thanks a lot!
Chinese ROM has most features and NFC (doesn't have GPay support) but no multilanguage (but with "MoreLocal2" it should be possible to unlock more languages I heard, but haven't tried it myself) and no Play Store, but that can be manually installed from the Chinese app store "GetApps". OTA updates work with this method, I got MIUI 13 offered last week and it works fine!

I'm not sure about that, also why? If you do then you will loose the Google Play Store as the Chinese ROM doesn't include play store. The Poco ROM has Play Store that's why K40 Gaming owners want to flash the Poco ROM instead.

Currently it is the V12.5.7.0.RKJINXM (Indian Global) but it doesn't have NFC included. But instead full Google services and working rear LEDs.
@@s7yler IN CHINA ROM GOOGLE SERVICES IS WORKING PERFECT, ANY PROBLEM WITH THIS, YOU MUST INSTALL MANUALLY THE GOOGLE SERVICES

For now, there are unfortunately no known custom ROMs for the K40 Gaming. Only official ROMs and Beta ROMs.
EDIT there are some custom ROMs out now, but they are buggy so not really recommend to use as dailydriver.
If i flashed global rom to k40 phone is it able to recieve OTA update ? or i just going to flashed update manually again?.

Changed my old phone (Poco X3 Pro) with Custom ROM to this (K40G) eventually getting a bad experience with Apex Legends, it's lagging at some times.
I use official Indian ROM with MIUI Global 13.0.1 Stable Android 12 no lagging here.

unfortunately not as the K40 Pro+ is using Qualcomm Snapdragon and not MTK, this guide here is only for Xiaomi Redmi using MTK CPU Chipset.
