Kuhns / Norden hay squeeze and tie grabber
the reason that cylinder sprays out is because it deadheads and thats the relief. in other words its supposed to do that
How do like the bale accumulator and what do use to pick them up off of the field. Is it the kind that puts string around the outside or no
Love the accumulator we have now sold our 10 bales and moved up to the 18 bale we use Norden's tie grabber on out skid steer to pickup the bundles check out those videos on our channel and thanks for watching
Can I borrow it for straw season can you help a poor farmer out😊
😆If I was closer you know I would
Rewatched, great content. Love this grader implements!

Sorry to hear that, take care

Where did you get that pickup rake wheel?
off a round baler
@@rohrfarms I’ll have to keep my eye out for one then. Do you by chance have a Facebook, Instagram or a way of getting in touch with you? I’d like to get some pictures of how you have that wheel mounted if you could. I’d greatly appreciate it !

Is it necessary to alternate the packs as you stack now that you use the tie grabber
Que lo pasen en español por favor
What camera/screen do you have on the baler and in the cab?
I will have to look and get back with you
We are running bc5070 hayliners and in heavy hay only 1.3mph
I can agree
Nice setup! I'm looking to get a tie grabber and possibly a squeeze. How long are your bales?
If your using the squeeze you MUST have no less than 35" bales and they have to be tight, thanks for watching.
How would you get rust off the blades? Mine are rusted. Thanks
Wire brush them and coat with used oil
@@rohrfarms thanks!
What’s your Quonset size, they look large enough to maneuver in with the t630
40x80x20
Nice! How many shanks…what hp is your tractor? I see you were about 6” deep with points.
It's 7 shanks tractor is 110hp
Where are you guys located?
Ohio
I’ve been waiting to see this thing in action lol
LOL I did this just for you
@@rohrfarms awesome thanks
That little baler sure is smooth working, consistent output too. At least with that vertical exit chute, you can see if you have a missed tie. Only downside to that accumulater is that you can see if you have any blockage issues - perhaps the fitment of a small remote camera might be in order ? I'd hate to go into a crop that thick and not be able to monitor every stage. Get it done and done once - the weather is not your friend when it comes to baling your crop.
We have a camera at the knotters as far as one on the accumulator I think might work but we are use to looking through the opens in the bottom I don't feel the need, and yes make hay while the sun is out the weather is not our friend for sure. Thanks for watching
You need to put mower hitch on top of tractor draw bar. Those bolts will work loose and F every thing up
The bolt has been holding for 3 years now if we put it on the tractor drawbar it is to high and the mower will not sit tight to the ground
Those NH balers love big windrows like that I've done a paddock once that I had my IVT JD dialed up at 32 kph to make a square bale
I think a corn field would be cool 😎
Hi p b
Do you think this drill would actually drill through a recently grazed pasture?
sadly NO we tried it on bean stubble and what a mess this planter works great on bare dirt, it's just a glorified brillon seeder
Those wind rows are freekin massive!! What is your record per acre production? Would be a deam to have a field of hay like that. Wow.
On that field on this day we made 142 bales per acre we are now averaging 111 currently, thanks for watching
It sure beats slinging bales in the hot sun. The tracked skid steer gives a smooth ride too it seems!
Yes it does
I know you use the tele-handler to stack in the barn but how high does the skid steer stack how many packs I have an af10 and stack with a small skid steer I can go 8 high my tractor will go 10 Just curious what a larger skid steer would do thanks
The telehandler will go 20' but I can lift 5 rows at a time so I don't need to go 20' with the machine, my skid will barely lift the 5 packs so I'm thinking I could only go 10 packs high with my skid and it's a T630. The telehandler lifts 5-6 packs no problem and now I can stack 18 rows high, thanks for watching
Well it looks like you are maintaining your field right, to produce the hight and the thickness of hay you want or need, looks great keep it up.
Thanks
When I was farming a long time ago we had a Neighbor named Rohr in Marlboro twp, are you related?
Yes and I was from Maximo
@@rohrfarms Harrisburg here
I currently have a fella 320 SM discmore just wondering if you happen to know where I can get the odor Drive box
We used Tarvers 800-848-9303
Ok thanks for getting back to me preciate it
We are done with 2nd cutting
Nice looking system for handling small squares.......
Thank you
I really like that gathering wheel that you have. I have never seen that on a square baler before, only a round baler.
We added it because our rotor rake makes a large windrow and even with the rake all the way in to make a small windrow the baler is only 6" wider than the row
Nombre d ella caja de cambios
Looking great 👍
Good Morning Sir, I recently got/given a SM 240 and it ran great this first cut. I was checking over everything and I think that one of the bearings is going bad before I tear it down. Do you know what bearing I need, where I can get a operators/parts manual? Thanks in advance for your help. Also I know this video is several years old and you might not have the mower but it's worth a try.
DN Equipment 877-885-4300 also look on ebay usually you can find someone parting one out
Your right about parts availability. It sucks
500 bucks? Yeah you got screwed.
We’re finished with first cut. Dry like you. Been waiting on a rain so we could put Urea on. Finally spread some Saturday and today getting a little rain, hopefully it will help the urea go down and not up.
It's tricky that urea that's why we get ours coated but we still wait a day or two before a rain to apply
That squeeze arm is a pallet saver
Hard to believe you’re new barn is already full but I guess that’s a good problem to have. Take care
What kind of fertilizer do you go with?
something like a 22-12-26-1
Everyone I know with a cell phone gets those telemarketers constantly. I use phones from when I had a land line and 20 years ago made a menu to keep them out. Heard next week the fronts should start moving again which means rains should resume. I love that bale moving system, would be fun to load that way from the field. Now if you keep renting that field I am sure you will have to add fertilizer to get good results.
It needs lime also in the fall we will be fertilizing tomorrow, thanks for watching
36” is the size we shot for. That fertilizer pays for itself +.
Yes we tried a new analysis this year and it did wonders, thanks for watching
Cool
Glad you got more bales this time! Nice to show how you finished filling the hay storage, that's why you should never get rid of the skid steer!
Very nice setup I look back where you started and you have come a long way in the hay business😊
Thanks it's been something else but won't have it any other way for that's how you learn, thanks for watching and good luck with your crops this year.
Now that’s the way to move hay, awesome setup. Take care
It's amazing you can squeeze a stack of males like that on the bottom and they don't all just fall apart. You can also use the grabber to push the piles closer together. The bales go from trailer to hoop house in no time. Out in the field you use the skid steer which won't compact the field. Two machines and help means continuous stacking!
We don't want them very close because we will use the squeeze to remove the bales from the building and load onto the trailers for delivery
@@rohrfarms I was wondering about that when I saw you push the stacks closer together. Also I wonder how you will be able to stack close to the entrance as the telehandler is bigger than the skid steer.
@@chargermopar W e will have a video of that coming soon
