It varies within every neighborhood and depending on pricing too. There are definitely 60', 70' and even 90' lots available but they cost a lot and they put houses on them that are $$$$!
So glad you like them! We really wanted to show some "older" communities because they really are good options for resale and SO beautiful! Of course, "older" in this area means 10 years!
Oh Mc Donalds Coke is my favorite too!!!! So hard to resist. It was nice to see the Taylor Morrison Development finished. We saw it when they were in the early stages.
I don't think I can express to you what a big part of my life Diet Coke from McDonald's has been! LOL... Their mix is JUST RIGHT... Okay, I have to stop talking about it now or I'm going to break down!
Wincey Groves is SO great! You are going to love it there... AND you'll be there when most of the construction has cleared out. What floor plan did you buy?
LOL.. We kind of figured it would end up getting stuck in people's heads... but Eric wasn't kidding... he thinks that EVERY time... so now you can share in his suffering. 😉
Hi Amy, love your sunday drives. You just mentioned new community by MI homes near tiny road. Is there any construction started there yet? Thanks Snigdha
They have started to clear the land there and my favorite site agent will be the one working there! She tells me that they may begin pre-selling this summer. If you are interested, send me an email at amy@heartandhomeorlando.com and mention that you would like to know more about that community. I can have you fill out a "wish list" and I can get you the inside info when it is available! 😀
Hi Amy. Hope all is well with you and yours. Pricey community but it’s a lovely neighborhood and the homes are large. Didn’t know builders have apartment communities such as your featured Taylor Morrison The Cove. Question. If one of your clients need to stay in an apartment waiting on a completed build, is there a discounted rent or regular rent? And do builders have associated apartment communities they deal with? Thanks much and enjoy your evening.
Hi Cydney! There are some apartment complexes that will offer shorter lease terms for people building houses, but it is usually at regular rent rates or even a little higher in return for the shorter lease terms. The apartments I showed aren't actually associate with any particular builder, it just so happens that some of my clients have ended up there while they waited for construction to complete. One of the trickiest parts of new construction these days is not ending up without somewhere to live after you sell your current home and wait for the next one to be built! Luckily, we've had pretty good luck so nobody ends up without a place to stay!
I'm here to help! I have LOTS of buyers from overseas and I can really help because I'm on the ground here and can be your eyes and ears for the home search. On another note, I visited Ireland with my family a few years ago and I would love to buy a home in Ireland!!! We took the ferry across from Wales to Wexford and then drove up to Dublin. I NEED to get back there to see the other coast!!! 💚💚💚
What does disturb me is the amount of development compared to the necessary farmland and orchards that is being taken over. What is your info and thoughts on this?
I agree! It really upsets me to see the trees being torn out. However, most of these orchards have not been active, producing orchards since the mid-90s. Part of the reason that the entire Horizon West area was developed was that due to the economic situation in the mid-90s and some freeze events, a lot of these orchards went under. So the land was actually purchased for development 30 years ago.

Independence is one of the best communities 🤗
It's so beautiful!
I have been living in independence for 10 years love it here!
So beautiful!!!
Same here
I love the fact that there is room between the houses, most suburbs today look like shoe boxes stacked side by side

Very cute, you got my attention💕
Great video Amy and comic relief from Eric! I either hear the choir singing "Hamlin" or a barber shop quartet!
LOL... I'm not sure I like knowing what is happening in Eric's brain sometimes!
🎶Ham-lin♫Now this is in my head.🤨 I'm going to get you for this, Eric. 😀
LOL... Now his curse is your curse!!! 😉
So beautiful ! So many communities established and new. Where to start ! Loving these Sunday’s drives.

Welcome to my world. Every. Day.
We love these Sunday drives - we just bought in Wincey Groves in Hamlin and love the area, but we are still in IL so it's fun to see the area

Great drive! Beautiful area! The "Hamlin" thing was funny. Although, I can't quite get that out of my head, LOL.

I’m worried about my Coca-Cola shares 😂
Don't worry... Eric and my kids still drink enough Coke products that you'll be just fine!

Hi Rob!
Congrats on kicking the coke habit (the drink, obviously)
Thanks! It was MUCH easier than I thought it would be! Probably because I'm still drinking coffee ☕
