New York City Tour: Five Star Carting

The second video in the series features Five Star Carting out of Maspeth, NY who is one of the larger haulers servicing New York City's five boroughs.
In this video we first watch a gorgeous Mack RD drag up a compactor on a busy street in downtown Manhattan. Then we catch up with a Mack MR McNeilus Rear Loader on trash finishing up a stop before finally meeting up with a crew cleaning almost 25yds of recycling in a loading bay packed full of trash and recycling generated earlier that day. The amount of hand loading this crew had to do at this particular stop was astonishing to a humble guy who did front load in downtown Portland, Oregon. I tip my hat to them.
This video is dedicated to Cosimo Tristani, departed father of the company owner, a legend in the industry and well loved by all who knew him.
