Nice job, Ships Captains were not so actively involved with their crews when I served long ago. If I can offer one criticism, meant in the most positive way, your habit of rocking side to side while you are talking is a little distracting from your message. Just an observation, otherwise great job, keep it up, you appear to be a good man to serve under.
Thank you for your feedback . I agree with your point earlier there used to be minimal interaction of Master with the crew on day to day basis …. Mostly it was indirectly through departments!!But in today’s time with limited crew members it is of paramount importance to constantly motivate the crew members and maintain good interpersonal relationship in order to ensure that all jobs are done smoothly and safety.
I see your video quality is improving, it seems good though keep it up and try to be active on UA-cam. I hope that we gonna get more videos to see in your channel anyways your content is inspiring and I guess this video will the help the upcoming youth. :)
The only things that a ships master can do without engineers is drop the anchor and set off distress rockets. So why don't engineers become ships masters I hear you say. The answer is engineers are far too busy to take a week off to complete a ship's masters course.
It’s all teamwork onboard as I mentioned specifically !! All departments onboard are equally important and has significant role to play for smooth running of vessel 😊👍🏻!!
