Another test you could do is take the two outside injectors which flow “less” and put them in the center and put the higher flowing ones on the outside spots and see if your results are the same? Just a thought I had watching the video
I was wondering the same, that center feed fuel rail might have smallest of fuel pressure difference and carry over a small effect in a set where balance specs are unknown. Would also love to see 1min and 2min tests to see if the flow rate is linear.
I suggested this as well that way you can see if the inconsistencies is the injectors or the CT160 itself.. I just ordered one so I will conduct this test on my channel and show results as well very soon .
Incorrect , the fuel rail is under presure meaning all of them supposed to be perfect if not then you have a problem witht the inyector or your pulse machine
Dude I’ve been wanting one of these for the shop but the price kept me away from buying figured cheap price cheap unit . But pretty cool and a huge help knowing if one or two are not 100% . Thank you brother .
I bought one similar to that about 10 years ago (but the 6cyl one) - it's great! Buy your cleaner and flow fluid in the biggest pail you can get (I bought 5 gal ones). If you can't find it I'll try to get the info off my cans. Being able to flow test and make a MATCHED set is super handy.
Oh, and grab some plug lead wire numbers. Slip them over the wires. Makes it far easier to go from test->clean->test->clean->test and get them back in the same place for comparison. I punch all the numbers into a spreadsheet and graph them if I'm doing them for someone else.
Been using a CT200 for about 6 years. For serious duty you need to upgrade the power supply and fuel pump at a minimum. Also noteworty is their fuel pressure control strategy does not pwm the pump variably as one would expect, they just cut voltage to the pump, which is also the injector supply voltage. Good basic machines, but for consistency there are several modifications that must be done.
does the kit able to run 2 injectors at a time or even just 1 - does it come with a blank kit etc ? did you actually try just 1 or 2 injectors on their own?
Problem with them they cant flow moderate flow rates without dropping psi as you can see in your test the psi drops, i modified mine with a bigger pump and manual regulator with a larger power inverter
cool machine. I wonder if some of the Styrofoam lodged itself in the manifold? I use a handheld injector pulse tool and clean injectors that way with a Frankenstein setup. Basically I yank the filter basket with a drywall screw, pull the o-rings, rig up some hoses to a can of carb cleaner and I spray through the injector backwards (Basically I'm using the propellent in the carb cleaner can as a fuel pump lol). You can order replacement basket filters on the jungle site for not much money.
Hey man! I am a silent lurker that have been hitting your Tuning Playlists. Love the videos but I wish they where made out to people that does not know HP tuners as good as you. You are so quick going trough it and do things that I need awnsers of that your not explaining properly 😂 As you can figure I am new to tuning eventough I have been feeding my brain with all these things for 2 years. (spark, knock, afr-lambda, VE & more) Is there any videos on how to do a basic stage 1 on the car? I went through the Forums like you mentioned in HP tuners and etc. But I am just not getting the Info I want... I would love to know the basics ons Tuning the spark as example (I saw your video of the spark adder and I saw the Spark base table but things like where would one actually adjust, same with the Fueling, As the RPM's goes up we have to run Richer but how do we know if the set point that we are at is right or not.) Thanks man 😊
If you swap positions, does it make a diff? If you run low psi / high psi / low duty / high duty / is the pct varience consistent? Could aleays use them with per injector scaling on your vehicles ECU to correct for the varience.
I am skeptical about using washer fluid as a test fluid since it contains methanol. I think that methanol would not be good for the seals in the machine, and bad for injectors. I own a Flex fuel vehicle, and the owners manual tell you to not use any methanol based products in the fuel system. I know that both are alcohol based products, I'm not a scientist, but owners manual tells not to use methanol
This is a valid concern, consult the elastomer chemical compatibility database for confirmation and choose replacement elastomer compounds accordingly.

Good idea

Please do this

Try the 2 middle inj and put them on the outside to test if it is flow related though that manifold

I think I put a couple of vids up on my channel showing it.

Great video! Are you sure is it ideal to use a windshield wipers liquid? I'd need some help with this matter. Thank you
Definitely want to see more testing. I’ve been wanting to buy one of these for a while
can u mount the injectors backwards to backflow them?
Don’t see why not, good idea

Details on mods?
I got the 6 ports one works real good

More videos want to clean and flow my injectors. Great video!
Yes, been wanting to see a video of one of these
Swap the injectors between the tester manifold positions - bit of a coincidence both outer injectors flow less - maybe a tester limit?
Try moving two injectors on the outside to the inside, could be different pressure and flow from manifold.
Can you run a higher PW on the outer 2 injectors to make them match the inner 2 injectors? This is assuming the tester is 100% accurate
Problem with them they cant flow moderate flow rates without dropping psi as you can see in your test the psi drops, i modified mine with a bigger pump and manual regulator with a larger power inverter
Hi, thanks for this. Could you make a video of this then tag me to it please
My bad bro I just used fuel injector cleaner for the ultrasonic clean is that bad

I would like to see more videos on the injector cleaner

I suppose; even if you balance them, your VE per cyl is going to vary as well.
Almost better off using 8 widebands.
How to test and calcul the cc/min ?
I have a ct-200 that I’ve used like 3 times. Let’s see what this video is all about
You so fancy
works for diesel injectors?
Probably not
Def a good deal finally!
You add liquid to test the windshield wipers
Swap the outside injectors to the inside to see if it’s the injectors or the tester

It appears you are working by guess 🤔
Brother, how do I get your number to contact you
