I'm thinking of starting my own business, n this would be my first machine. I have 6 years experience under employment but never got to use the newer battery trimmers.
I watch and learn from your videos thank you. I use the Stihl 85 telescopic battery hedge trimmer which works very well, could i ask a question about the actual trimming ? My hedges are a mixture of privet and holly, over the years the width of the hedges have increased considerably, I intend cutting them back but on my test area I can see I am going to have a brown hedge for a while, do privet and holly recover and put out new green growth after a severe trimming ? I would appreciate your opinion without liability of course 😀
It is seen as good safe practice to wear a helmet when trimming above shoulder height. Most risk assessments would include it as a requirement. 😀 Thank you for watching.
We are still 12 months away fro getting the KMA135 kombi in this country, how's the weight balance with the various tools? I am assuming a dedicated unit for each task would be better but pricier?
I guess it all depends on your circumstances. If you have staff that will be wanting to use different machines at the same time - then dedicated machines might be a better option. But you get a lot of versatility from the kombi system - and great space savings. The weight and balance of the machine obviously depends on battery choice, but overall it is a pleasure to use and has plenty of power.
Hey bud, whenever i cut yew hedge i get all my safety clothes on, although a pleasure to cut and always has a tidy finish these buggers are so poisonous
well shoot, usually im spitting out the different pieces of taxus during trimmin for I absolutely hate to work with a helmet on. Glasses and gloves thats it for me when it comes to hedgetrimming.
Beautiful job as always. I love that trimmer!

love your videos, just a quick question is it a law to wear the safety head gear in GB?

Hi, It feels very different and having the ability to put the battery in the unit gives you more options. Thank you for watching 👍

I hold short of putting the bubble wrap suit on as I find it too restrictive
