Hi everyone! We're happy to bring you the first part of our IAAPA 2018 coverage - there's much more to come! Let us know what your favorite game was and have a wonderful day :)
Hi Julius and Brittani I got to meet Roman at welcome break off the M11 j8 in the uk, it's a service station where you can get food coffee and bathroom break. He was staying in the day's inn hotel on the site. I was working at the WH Smith shop at night. Well done on win the race Julius. 😀😍🤣💖💙🎄🎅
The Poogies!! One of my twins is OBSESSED with pigs and she literally squealed when she saw them LOL 🐷🍉🐷 And that water ring game brought back some serious nostalgia. Makes me want some Surge, Dunkaroos and 3-D Doritos haha!
I played that Winner Every Time claw in Johannesburg, except instead of candy on the side it was those little plastic toy capsules (like at the front of grocery stores, but bigger). It actually had some cute little prizes.
FINALLY! THE POOGIE RACING GAME!!!! Japan has had that thing for what feels like forever and hopefully now ill be able to play it! Now if only we could get the other Monster Hunter games as well...
I can't believe you didn't run into Plush Time Wins...they were there vlogging everyday, too. Thank you for this very entertaining video and showing us what we can expect to come to the arcades.
Both awesome games! Pixel Chase will definitely be a favorite for many, and Whack A Clown should be popular too - we did have some issues with the clowns randomly turning red though :o
I love your videos. my hubby and I got quite the kick out of the bit about the undertaker being so tall at 6 foot 10. my hubby is 6 foot 9 to my 4 foot 11
Ooh wow! I like the super cute Monster Hunter arcade game! (The Nyaa memes are coming back to me....!!!) Adamiro does pretty colorful arcades (and animatioins)!
Hey I love wwe my dad is one of the security guard and I love that game thank you for playing that game I got to say hi to Roman after he announced that he has lukeimia
I'm a big wrestling fan. The guy Roman you got on the second card, was just diagnosed with leukemia. But I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for that game.
Well actually he wasn't just diagnosed. He has had leukemia since he was 22..... he relapsed from his remission. I bawled my eyes out when I heard the news..... he is such a good person and great performer in the ring!
Was working on a UA-cam video, then I saw the notification and dropped everything lol. It’s nice to see your beautiful faces again! (Also Happy Early Thanksgiving) And WOW that’s a lot of different types of games. Hope you enjoy playing all the games there! Have a great rest of the day! - Kathy
Aww, thank you Kathy! We loved IAAPA, such a gigantic convention that we'll have to dedicate quite a few videos to it :o Good luck on your video and happy early Thanksgiving too :)
Sara Aldrich I like WWE also except things been getting messed up lately what with Reigns getting cancer and Crown Jewel which SUCKED. But yes I still like WWE
@@AKayfabe People are not understanding this.... Roman did not just get cancer..... he has had the leukemia since he was 22.... it has been in remission, but now, sadly, it has come out of remission..... and I hope and pray he can beat it back into submission again.
Looking in arcade operator eyes, WWE Superstar is a consideration for locations that are new. Maybe as an add on to locations with more than 3-4 card collects if it can show it can be in the top 10-20 for a long time. It might cannibalize other collect games, though. It also doesn't have the coin pusher play the most popular collect games have, but it's brand will help it get sales. Hopefully it isn't like the NFLPA one, where it's not a hot earner until the brand gains mainstream traction. Safe Crackers and Key 2 Win could be good to get for route locations with dying Stackers or Key Masters. It will be hard to get bery tantalizing prizes, due to the fact the US industry is supposedly selling 'only 100 percent skill' prize games. Waterfuls looks really compact compared to many other new games nowadays. It has two player support, allowing for two swipes per family trying the game out (whereas Down the Clown gets one swipe). Replay value for redemption players looks nice, as there's two ways to win. This seems to be a nostalgia piece, so players who didn't grow up with Waterfuls will not feel as enticed with this. Whack a Clown's compact design allows for a lot of locations to get this game. The fact that one can go on their own pace of play gives a sense of leniency to the play style. Linking multiple machines is a plus. This allows for lots of competitive play, and for this to get into the top 10-20 of games in a busy location. One thing that would've worked well for this, is the inclusion of a video screen. That kills the nostalgic feel of the game by a tad, but could help with visual cues. Pixel Chase looks nice as a compliment to any existing skill wall. It shares gameplay styles with games like Let's Bounce or Down the Clown. It's wide width allows families, couples, or groups to challenge themselves to a jackpot.
That's a pretty good summary of these games :o We can see Pixel Chase doing the best of all the games from our video - easy to play, good replay value too! WWE should do well too - the NFLPA game was good, but we recall some people being confused by the overall design of the machine for whatever reason :o
@@BT-sg2en Its just to show them how to play games, and since there are so many people in conventions, they want everyone to have an opportunity to play games. And if there are no more prizes, nobody will play them.
Yeah, we would've liked to have gotten some tiny things out of some machines XD A few of the claw machines actually did let winners get candy and things like that at least! No way to give out bigger prizes than that though - too many people at IAAPA and since all the games are free to play it's inevitable that some people will abuse it :/
Unfortunately there are waaaaaayyyyy too many people at IAAPA to let even candy be won XD But we did find a few machines that actually let us win prizes - you'll see them soon!
I got so excited the WWE Game.... I nearly went poo poo in my pants!!!!! PLEASE, oh PLEASE play it when you find it out in the wild!!!!!! I teared up seeing the Roman card.... so sad about him....
IAAPA is for showing off new arcade games, so the companies place prizes in the machines but don't allow them to be won since there's so many people at IAAPA and the machines would get emptied really quickly!
@@TheCraneCouple Um..... not really, Julius. He is only 5'10" and that is short for a wrestler.... he is considered a small guy.... muscular and ripped yes, but certainly not big in the terms of WWE Wrestling.
