Correct me if I'm wrong but how can a Euro'76 Qualifying match be played in April 1976, less than two months before the tournament kicks off? It must be a friendly international.
I'm not 100% sure but the European Championship tournament was different back then. The qualifying matches were considered part of the tournament and happened right up to the tournament. While nowadays it is decided who goes long before the tournament takes place. Also the 1976 tournament only had four countries.

It's rigth, must be a mistake
It was a Euro '76 quarterfinal. Home and away series. Netherlands won both legs 5:0 and 2:1.
I'm not 100% sure but the European Championship tournament was different back then. The qualifying matches were considered part of the tournament and happened right up to the tournament. All matches are part of the Championship. Qualifying or final tournament -- doesn't matter.
