That's frickin sweet. I bought a TX-22 last year after watching your review and it's been excellent. This new one looks even better. It'll be nice having a training .22 that mirrors so many of my other plastic fantastics in form and function that I can also stick an optic on to practice my red dot presentations with for a much lower cost per round. Looking forward to seeing if those extension mags are as reliable as the 16-rounders. 👍
They opened up the port as well, which was one of the only complaints I had heard about the TX(and even that was just in theory that it could be hard to fish out a round if there was a jam).
@@9MilRidge Hey I can't figure out how to disassemble the extended mag. How do you get the extension part off? No pins visible. I can see that it slides off, but I can't get it to budge.

I Like the bull barrel on the new model.
The gen 1s were prone to slide cracking where the recoil rod meets the front of the slide. Has there been any changes for gen 2?

Yes, it would just look a little funny but still work fine.
