With so many great guns now part 2 will be out this weekend with another 10 must have weapons. Some good suggestions already so what legendaries should make the cut?
Just a bit of feedback as someone who's just seen your vids for the first time. Seeing all of the weapons was great and helpful, but listening to you wax poetic about each one in between got a bit annoying. Idk if you're just trying to make your video longer or what, but yeah that part wasn't so great. :/
This is the first video I've seen from you, but I absolutely love the way you sell each weapon. Reminds me of the shopkeeper in the first town of Bard's Tale when he's telling you the perks of each weapon. Anybody else love that guy as much as I did?
I will throw in my vote for specific vaulthunter lists. WAY more helpful to me to be class specific. I was told to farm Reflux for Moze, and had to kill GenIVIV 63 times to get it.....only to find out it sucked ass, even though I was using the build that said it was the number 1 weapon for. My 3 level lower pistol did more damage. LOL.
The game is in such a good place right now. I just came back to it for the new DLC after taking 6 months off, and I gotta say, I'm loving it and all of the weapon buffs. Hellwalker on Flak is EVERYTHING!!!
@@BikerDash 👌 if I'm lucky and the boss spawns minions when I kill them they let out green orbs that do splash damage. If all of them or atleast a few hit they can severely damage the boss or kill them immediately
Same i can shread though enemies that are lv 50 on tvhm and I can literally one hit them most of the time with my lv 35 hellwalker, now I have a tvhm mayhem mode 10 lv 51 hellwalker that does 7801x10 and for crits its over 500k some times to can hit a 1mil critical, and bc its incinerary my moze makes it even more powerful
Great list, you cannot go wrong with those weapons. I'm still partial to the soulrender myself as I can never get enough skulls with a ghast grenade combo.
Pretty sure they're eventually going to bump it up to at least 69 at some point. Probably not for a while, but it will happen sooner or later. I don't really see them leaving this one as the lowest cap ever, and it could be months from now, or even near to when BL4 is announced. We'll eventually get to around a lvl 70 cap though, give or take a level or so. It is also worth mentioning that Star Helix shoots around physical shields. So those tanky enemies with barrier shields in front of them go down much easier if you have one.
Incase anyone didn't know Hellwalker is a DOOM EasterEgg weapon. Its incredibly fun to use thanks to the Heavy Metal music and high damage. Headphones Recommended for maximum enjoyment. (Note: If you knew this theres no need to be rude. Im just sharing this information for people that didn't know. Thank you.)

One note about hellwalker before I keep watching. Hellwalker with Moze builds is amazing. getting endless mags after leaving bear go hear the sweet sound of heavy metal rifts with regen magazines is music to my ears.
My star helix is killing it right now. And I just picked up a corrosive kaos with 100% damage after damage by rakks. It's doing hundreds of millions in damage on the explosions.
The king's call is a good gun especially whenever it's mixed with fl4ks ability to go invisible and amp up shots in every crit returns of bullet to your gun this gun shoots in a pattern with every crit it ricochets bullets off of enemy that shoot to the nearest enemy but the bullet is not the powerful part, it's what comes back down. Meaning as long as you are invisible basically have an OP Infinity gun.
I got a 65M10 Hellwalker that does 2 "mags" of 100 percent corrosive after action skill end.... can still melt lightly armored enemies on flak with crit power. I feel like I'm always searching for a gun that can just mow anything.... like a flipper but non dlc which i haven't worked through.
@Lujack Shaw i'm running around with a frost/shock flipper with 200% damage increase while an active skill is active, which on Zane, is always that gun breaks everything, and anything vladof lol
i stopped playing after I farmed a godroll hellwalker & the fl4k build got nerfed.. many months ago has the vault space been heavily expanded ? Thinking about getting back into the game.

Coming from a fl4k main it's a damn shame the hellwalker and monarch gameplay wasn't done on a fl4k crit build since hellwalker was solid on them since BEFORE the buff and the monarch makes traunt look like a skag. But all the gameplay was on amara so I digress. Also the face puncher is a stupid weapon but it's pretty insane.
I'm upset that no one talks about the sawbar. Sure it isn't the most straight forward to use but once you get the hang of it that thing fucks. I used it to melt wotan and scourge insanely quick on Moze, it may be fire only but that gun doesn't give a shit (unless you're fire immune that is)
Star helix isn't best used close range. The pattern has no spread and the middle bullet has no deviation either so you can hipfire it at incredibly long distances. It's like the opposite of a close range weapon.
Excellent video and great weapons. At the same time I must ask why do you indicate the hellshock and not the beacon, which is simply better. In additional I was convinced you would mention the face puncher.
Have you ever experimented with the "Compressing Complex Root"? Its a sniper I found while farming the light show. Its very unique and does well with Amara. Recommend giving it a look
Glad you included the Hellshock. That weapon is so ignored and under-rated. It does not require a specific class or build to work well. I have leveled all 4 classes using it as my primary weapon. The light show is great, but there are times when the Hellshock will outperform it. Ideal to have both in your pack. Even with the recoil, I use it for distant mobs. Yes, it's easier at midrange, but if you have good aim and practice with it, you can use it effectively on mobs so far away that they look like pinpoints on the screen. I do recommend trying to get it with increased charge speed, as a slow charge can get annoying. Cheers.
Everyone is play through is a little different. For example I farmed the warden on mayhem 10 for over an hour and he didn’t drop it, take most of these locations with grain of salt. Most of these are world drops
It's best to farm the dedicated drop spots for most things. You could make an argument for a few things like the white elephant which dedicated drop is agonizer 9000 who has 5 dedicated drops but in my experience I still have better luck killing agonizer than graveward for white elephants. There's no guarantee you'll get what you're looking for, one time I farmed killavolt for 3 hours trying to get good monarchs for my fl4k build and didn't get one.
I would have the Rebound on this list, with an element on it and a good anointment like consecutive hit it's probably one of the best guns in the game for any Vault Hunter.
They really buffed a lot of the ARs. The Star Helix, Kaos, and Breath of the Dying got huge damage boosts. The Hellwalker......holy shit. To be fair, one shot per reload, it should be really powerful. When you play Doom, there is no tactic except getting in the face of your enemy and decapitating them with a shotgun blast, which is pretty much what it does now. If spec’d right with FL4K, you can do anything in the game with it. Its bullet spread is narrow, so even flying enemies or bosses go down from a medium range distance.
I just got back from a break, quit right after dlc2 and right before the 2nd takedown was released. Game got old, but I'm glad I'm back now because there's plenty to do now. And bloody harvest is about to drop again
The "buff" to manually reload the Anarchy AND allow it to still build its stack instead of eliminating it has been there since July. Have used it in DLC4 with Zane Clone build at Mayhem 10 and manually reload after one shot to stack as quickly as I can. ua-cam.com/video/vvbd4Eir1cM/v-deo.html
I just got the Lightshow yesterday wirh fire Element and I am shredding through enemys with that thing. Before i used to play with the anarchy just because this thing is awesome but I had the hellwalker in my Backback. Unfortunately she was very bad at the time but now its absolutely amazing. After this video I feel stupid tonhave sold the convergence and the flipper
The Flipper is relatively easy to farm. I did about an hour of farming and got at least 3 versions that were good for me. The Lightshow is also quite easy to farm.
the kaoson has been my go to for moze (my main) since the dlc came out. absolutely wrecks everything. sometimes gets a bit hectic and i do lose track of enemies though... usually because they are already dead in a cloud of explosions. 😺 hellshock and monarch are my backups and they do pretty decent, probably need to find better godlike rolls though.
I don’t think I’ve used the monarch right before, I’ll have decent rolls on class mods and stuff and good equipment but doesn’t seem like it puts out the damage like it does in videos. Any ideas? It’s with FL4K btw
You should have had Major Kong in the list as its bossing abilities outperform anything in the game. (I mean, its mobbing does too but the ammo consumption is too vast for using it for mobbing.)
what about the beacon may be? and you might want to tell people that the old rare spawns level up with you after the first time you meet them , unlike bl2 normal and tvhm (before beating the warrior) where all leveled bosses
you forgot to mention the Lightshow has ZERO recoil, or reticle bloom while firing - NONE... so you can get the damage buff from 'big kick energy' mayhem mod WITHOUT the recoil and accuracy penalties ;)
I’ve stopped playing after that porcelain bomb got a nerf. Hope I can get back into this game again. Even bought the deluxe edition and only played like 5 minutes of it.
If your gun can't kill in one clip you're not doing good but funny thing is the gun is good not a top 10 tho but the actual trick to it is cryo gun shock and, shock bonus fire corrosive gun I like bonus fire for the guardian takedown mantrakor part and if you're smart you equip a grenade or sheild with shock helps avoiding having to change gun at the wrong time the elements k didn't name don't bother and for the record the rad he is using is just wrong in every way I believe is build is viable
The amount of weapons/shields/grenades i have is overwhelming since i am scared to delete any of them (290 so far),... is there a guide on what NEVER to delete due to being powerful or just plain rare ?
what is the best weapon for the wraiths at the beginning of guardian takedown? The ones that come at you while you are charging the platforms? I have two zane builds (SNTNL and clone)
It’s unfortunate that the majority of weapons suck on Mayhem 10, and there’s basically must-have weapons to do good damage, but hopefully Gearbox is looking at that for the free expansion update soon.
But m10 is supposed to be the hardest mode (for the best rolls on the best gear) It’s already too easy. OP10 on bl2 was something you had to work up to in increments. Now anyone can get m10 gear in like 2 hours. There’s nothing to work towards.

I used my Level 50 "breath of the dying" until level 65 Killed me alot when enemies were too close but thats okay. :D Love this Gun!

Sand Hawk and Lyuda are great for Zane digi clone build.
@@marcin561 I haven't had much range issues with the sand hawk, but I have had range troubles with the helix.
So star helix made the list. While the weapons like lyuda maggie, unseen threat, reflux weren't even mentioned. Then I saw hellshock at #1 🤣

Actually, that bug on the Anarchy where you can manually reload and gain a stack still exists. At least before the DLC 4 drop it did

Tbh base game I rarely used the shock element on the Hellshock, thats how Op it is
It's not going to be the last time we have to farm them because of level cap. They've announced the next dlc already.

what about the beacon may be? and you might want to tell people that the old rare spawns level up with you after the first time you meet them , unlike bl2 normal and tvhm (before beating the warrior) where all leveled bosses

Its not a legendary but the Crit is the best weapon in the game imo as long as the crit spot is readily available
Why do you use phase grasp on the ground? Is it some trick on the siren
you forgot to mention the Lightshow has ZERO recoil, or reticle bloom while firing - NONE... so you can get the damage buff from 'big kick energy' mayhem mod WITHOUT the recoil and accuracy penalties ;)

I’ve stopped playing after that porcelain bomb got a nerf. Hope I can get back into this game again. Even bought the deluxe edition and only played like 5 minutes of it.

If your gun can't kill in one clip you're not doing good but funny thing is the gun is good not a top 10 tho but the actual trick to it is cryo gun shock and, shock bonus fire corrosive gun I like bonus fire for the guardian takedown mantrakor part and if you're smart you equip a grenade or sheild with shock helps avoiding having to change gun at the wrong time the elements k didn't name don't bother and for the record the rad he is using is just wrong in every way I believe is build is viable

Yea, Road Dog can be a bit scuffed sometimes, got lucky and got it first try, but tryna get it on mayhem 6 for an annointed he drops nothing
I got hellwalker on random badass and damm the damage 1 shot can make a big badass crumble

It’s unfortunate that the majority of weapons suck on Mayhem 10, and there’s basically must-have weapons to do good damage, but hopefully Gearbox is looking at that for the free expansion update soon.
But m10 is supposed to be the hardest mode (for the best rolls on the best gear) It’s already too easy. OP10 on bl2 was something you had to work up to in increments. Now anyone can get m10 gear in like 2 hours. There’s nothing to work towards.
I don’t get it I have the same guns on the same level mayhem/65 and mine do not do nearly the damage as shown in the videos
