I reconnected via Facebook with a guy I went out with 41 years ago. He was 22 and I was 26. Ever since we met long ago, I knew he would be a success and he did make it! I am very proud of him!!! I have thought about him through years off and on. Yes, he told me something during the date that really hurt me (it had nothing to do with me). Recently, he called and suggested that we have lunch together the next time he is passing through the area. I feel he is a strong soulmate and I hope we get a chance to see what happens. He left me before i left him because that is what he feared more than anything; it was me leaving because he chose not to deal with his issues.. As far as i know, he is still with someone else. I've let go and am moving on with my life. I truly feel sorry for all he has gone through, but that does not negate what he put me through. That being said, he was a Catalyst for change for me. I'm stronger, better in so many ways, and not afraid of more growth, challenges, and change to achieve my goals.
