Wow, thank you so much for your kind review of my work Shannon ❤ Very happy to have stumbled on to this post, you made my night! Slight correction, I’m technically a Canadian but have lived in The States for many years 😊🇨🇦
Hi Dean! So happy you stumbled upon this video! I adore your work and am going to be touching on a couple more of your puzzles in my March puzzle haul video that I am working on now. Thanks for the correction about where you live. I'll make sure I mention it in my next video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! :0)
Glad you are feeling better! I love Romi Lerda and have several from Magnolia as well. I also love Dean MacAdam and have a couple of his but did not know of the 3 Little Pigs or the Dogwalker. I ordered both from your link. Where do you put all your pinball machines?! What another cool passion!!!
Hi Randee! So glad you saw a couple of Dean MacAdam puzzles you liked and didn't have! We put our pinball machines in our basement. We own 10 and are running out of room! Thanks so much for watching and always commenting! I really appreciate it. :0)
There are so many good artists! I love "Beach Vibes" and those last two puzzles from Shea O'Connor. Would love to own those! (And "Her Coat of Many Colors" had me go WOW too!)
Hi SofSof! Yep, there are so, so many "wow" artists out there, and I want to own a puzzle by every one of them! Thanks a lot for watching and commenting! :0)
Another great jigsaw puzzle artist video! There are so many really good artists out there. I added all of the Jerrod Maruyama on Road Crates brand, loved them all. Thanks for the heads up on Dean MacAdam's new one - Busy Birdies and added Nathan Millers Tale of the Waghoba from Art & Fable, I have Legend Of the Jaguar Shaman and it is stunning in person! Thank you for sharing 🙂
Hi Marlene! I really love Jerrod Maruyama - he is just wonderful. Glad to hear you found a few more puzzle artists you like from my list. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! :0)
Hi Liane! I am sooo jealous that you went to the pinball museum! My hubby and I would like to go there some day. Thanks so much for watching and your comments. :0)
Hi Stacy! Yep, I LOVE the Dean MacAdam's puzzle from Nationals!! It is wonderful and I was able to snag one today on the Ravensburger website! Thanks for watching and always commenting! :0)
Great video Shannon! You're doing so well with your channel, keep up the awesome content. Sorry you got sick while in Texas, and hope you're all well now! Wife and I went to Pinball Expo in Chicago last year, had a blast. Took a family vacation to Vegas in Nov. and of course hit the Pinball Museum. One of these days, I'll make it to SFGE 😎 Keep doing what you love! Not sure if you got my e-mail but I did reply.
Hi Jon! Wow! So happy to hear you went to Pinball Expo *AND* the Pinball Museum! Both of those are on our short list. I think you'll love SFGE if you ever decide to give it a try. I received your email. Thanks so much for helping me out. :0)
I really love Nathan Miller's Legend of the Jaguar Shaman (Art & Fable). Thank you for sharing that one with us. I like cats both wild and domesticated. I have an Anatolian 1500-piece puzzle entitled "Egyptian Queen" by artist Jan Patrik (a/k/a Jan Patrik Krasny) that depicts an Egyptian Queen with her three leopard companions.
Hi Maggie! I adore cats and was blown away by Nathan Miller's illustrations. I am familiar with the Anatolian puzzle "Egyptian Queen" as it has been in my To Do stash for several years now! I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet! Thanks a bunch for watching and for your comments! :0)
Hope you feel better soon! We’ve got a local retro arcade nearby, so it’s fascinating to see people interested in preserving and expanding the hobby after all these years. I’ve already got that last one “The Four Seasons” on the way, thanks for the recommendation!
Hi Ann! Thanks so much for the good wishes. I'm definitely feeling better so I should be 100% very soon. Please let me know what you think about the Four Seasons puzzle once it arrives! Thanks for watching and commenting! :0)
@@persnicketypuzzler Had a chance to complete "The Four Seasons" puzzle and glad you recommended it. While it's a bit thin, the puzzle pieces are very firm. The pieces fit well, but do need to be carefully moved when moving sections. I'd like to see the prong shapes a bit more distinctive, but only a few false fits along the way. Since it's 500 pieces, I think it fit well and expect it would have been a frustrating 1000 piece. Overall, for a custom puzzle, with a beautiful image and box design, I'm quite impressed. I'll enjoy keeping this one. My last purchase of a puzzle on Etsy was a beautiful image, but not a great puzzle, which was too bad. So I'm glad to see a good one! Thanks again for the recommendation! Love supporting artists.
@@AnnAmbler So glad to hear you were happy with the puzzle! I actually haven't done that puzzle yet, so it's good to know that you enjoyed it. I love Shea's artwork a LOT. She is a wonderful artist. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! :0)
Ingrid slyder... she does much work and has been featured on many Ravensnburger puzzles. , some of my very favorites. There's one I hunted down on Canada.. where my friend intercepted it and shipped it to the US for me!😊 she also did a shopping street scene Lovely illustrations!
Hi Katie! I was not familiar with Ingrid and I looked up her work and she is wonderful! It seems like most of her puzzles are XXL pieces and small piece count puzzles. Is she on any other puzzle lines that you know of?
@persnicketypuzzler window shopper is in 1000 and 1500 pcs the Music Room is 500 pieces (reg size pieces ) and yes she does children's illustrations and cards and wrapping as well. Then there is Demsla Houghton.. which you have showcased on your videos before ..there's a new 500 peice out by her in time for the season.. Rabbit Recital 🐇 it's so cute you probably have already seen it . Have you ever done a Reverie puzzle? I just saw some that have illustrations that I like very much... something like mermaid in the bath.
@@Katie-vy5rd I ordered Rabbit Recital today, along with the Sweet Street puzzle Demelsa Haughton made for the US Jigsaw Puzzle Nationals. I do own one Reverie puzzle, but I have not put it together yet. So many puzzles and not enough time to do them all! :0)
Why hello there Chris Bigelow! I did a quick google search and I like your work, especially the Castaway Bait and Tackle puzzle you did for cra-z-art. My puzzle tastes have changed A LOT over the years - I tend to like more modern images now than when I was younger. I hope you are enjoying the series. :0) Thank you for watching and commenting! :0)
Hi Shannon! I have read the comments, and maybe it needs to be claified to your viewers in another way that these 5-part videos are artists that attract you, so many artists are going to be left out for that reason. Changing the subject, I'd love a review on that circular puzzle you got from a new-to-me company called VisseVasse, Autumn Feeling. Since you know I like Kandinsky, have you seen Yazz's Catinsky?! I just discovered it, as I am on the hunt for favorite puzzle companies., not artists. I look at high quality features, then the image. If I ever see a repeat of preferred artists, then I hunt those. I am not saying I don't care for the artists, oh no, it's just I prefer a high quality puzzle. In my family tree, there are 3 artists, but it's not me.
@@bettyc.6280 Yes, I understand what you are saying - these are *MY* favorite jigsaw puzzle artists. There are thousands of jigsaw puzzle artists out in the wild, and I can't mention them all, so this is very subjective and it's about what I like. Thanks for pointing that out. VisseVasse is an excellent puzzle brand. I have done several of their puzzles and they are all wonderful. I have done the Catinsky puzzle you mentioned, and it is in my "keeper" pile. I LOVED IT! YAZZ puzzles is one of my favorite new brands that I discovered last year. Thanks so much for watching and your constant support! :0)
Another interesting lot of images by your favourite artists. A little baffled as to why you showed so many images, eight, of Dean McAdam jigsaws. Some others had more than one shown as well. Not difficult to google artists to find out what jigsaws they have done. I've just found one by Jerrod Maruyama & Jeff Granito called Hope which looks good. Look forward to the last instalment of artists.
Hi PuzzlePiece! Maybe I am misreading things, but you seem unhappy with how many puzzles I showed of each artist's work. Did I show too many puzzles by some artists and not enough by other artists? I have googled *ALL* of these artists so I am very aware of what they have and haven't done, but I'm human and may have missed something, which is why I asked my viewers to chime in if they are aware of any puzzles that I am not aware of. I have seen the Jerrod Maruyama and Jeff Granito collaboration, but it is not one of my favorites, which is why I didn't show it. Thanks for watching and your comments.
@@persnicketypuzzler Your love of artists is lovely but I felt that you went a little over the top with some by showing so many jigsaw images of some artists. With Dean McAdam you showed eight of his puzzles. With Steve Crisp for example I have 57 of his jigsaw puzzles in my list of puzzles. To some degree it is academic now as you just have one part left of your favourite artists. 🙂 I do enjoy watching your videos as they are interesting and informative. I've just started a Janice Daughters puzzle called Curious Creatures (Gibsons). I love doing puzzles and have been doing so for nearly 60 years.
@@puzzlepiece9509I looked up the puzzle you mention, and I really like Janice Daughters work. I was unaware of her, so thanks for mentioning her. It's awesome that you have been putting puzzles together for almost 60 years. You've got me beat on that score. Thanks for your comments. :0)
