Thanks for posting this. Typical Nevil Shute - non demanding yet thoroughly enjoyable. "Trustee From the Toolroom" is one of the most creative plots I've ever heard. Solid acting from beginning to end in an era when life was more straightforward.
I really, really, loved those two plays. Thanks so much for sharing them. I especially loved the Trustee from the Toolroom. The Jack Donnelly character was my favourite. I imagine there a lots of people like him in far off Pacific islands, who read the signs of nature, birds and weather to get themselves from A to B in their boats.

Yes that's one of my favorite books too, so delightfully written - was encouraging my adult son to read it recently
