Great video, again. I'm planning on the St Mark's trail this month, Oct 2024, and the information you've provided is priceless. Thank you. Dave of NW Florida.
I ride this beautiful trail a couple times a week. I am 70 so I start at the Woodville Trail Head. It's almost 12 miles round trip and very manageable. Well done video. Thank You.
Love your channel! This is a trail I ride often, parking at the top trailhead, riding the 15.67 miles to the bottom in St Marks, then back. Lots of deeply shaded sections, and the road crossings aren’t bad at all. I’ve learned in the Summer to use skeeter spray, ‘cause if ya stop in the deeply shaded sections for anything, the little bloodsuckers will find you in about 90 seconds. Restrooms and shaded (roofed) shelters occasionally. (I got caught in a rainstorm at the south end of the trail last Saturday afternoon, and had to wait a storm out in a shelter for a little over an hour. Glad it was there!) I am delighted you guys reviewed it!
Thank you! We’re so happy you’ve enjoyed our videos! And thanks again for sharing your experience with us. Like you, we really loved St Mark’s and can’t wait to go ride it again. Good advice about the skeeter spray!
Highly recommend extending the ride next time from St Marks to the St Marks National Wildlife Refuge & Lighthouse. Lots of cyclists do this ride - it’s a beautiful add on. You take Newport Road, then on Coastal Hwy/98 very briefly then turn into the Refuge. About a 20 round trip from St Marks. Small gate entry fee. Best post-ride meal is always Cooter Stew Cafe in St Marks 😊
@K Jeter Oh wow! That sounds like a great ride! We’ve visited the lighthouse before, didn’t think of adding that on. We’ll have to do that soon ... and add Cooter Stew’s 😊
Hi! Thanks so much for watching! We would recommend looking for a hybrid bike that’s comfortable for you - some of the most reliable and best quality bike brands for your money are Giant and Trek ($300-1000.00). Whatever you decide, just make sure it has quality components so you don’t break down way out on the trail. Have fun!
Hi Timothy! It's well worth the ride! Since we film and stop quite often, it took us all day (6-7 hours) and we didn't ride all the way up. But the whole thing could certainly be ridden, out and back, in less than 4 hours (approx) at a relatively relaxed pace.
Great video. I found your channel while searching for Trek Verve 2 videos. I just bought one last Saturday myself. Where did you start this ride? In Tallahassee or St Mark's? It's beautiful scenery. I live in Jacksonville so I will definitely make a trip there to ride it. Thanks.
Great job guys! 👍👍👍
We really appreciate it, friend! Thank you for watching.
Thanks for the information. This trail is on my bucket list now. I am just 3 hours away from there and have never heard of it before.
We loved it! Hope you have as much as we did and more! Thanks for watching.
Nice drone work and video
Thank you brother!

Definitely adding this one to my list!
Hope you have as much fun as we did!
That is a nice trail. I rode that on my St.Marks bike tour last year. Following your adventures now 👍🙂
Thanks so much! We’ve been following your adventures too! Just watched your Gainsville trail ride. We’re hoping to ride that one next week! 😊
Enjoyed it, ever thought about MS other trace near Jackson, or ST Tammany trace here in Louisiana?
Thanks for watching! Yes, definitely both very soon since they’re not that far from us.
Nice riding
Thank you, and thanks for watching!

But that 2-lane highway between the trail and the park. 😞
Just seeing your videos for the first time and love them! What inexpensive bike would you recommend for a beginner wanting to get into trail riding?

Now I guess I have to travel to “Gator” Country!
But of course! 😊 We’re actually planning a ride near Gainsville in June!
How long did it take you , very interested in riding this one
