I appreciate the honesty of Mr. Dershowitz on several issues, but, for the life of me, how does he continue to say he is a Democrat? Bizarre!

When the age of voting was reduced to 18, it opened voting to a group that had very little experience in independent decision making for serious issues with long term consequences.
Like when they lowered the drinking age to 18 in some states. It turned out to be a disaster.

As a professor I dressed down a student about his glorifying the protest during the first week of the war. I informed him I felt that protesting in favor of of murderers and rapists digusting and found it completely aborhent. He absorbed it gracefully and haven't heard any pro-hamas retoric since.

@@nzmassive The protest are inherently pro-hamas by actions. The timing being right after Oct. 7th, before the IDF invasion started, correlates to the timing of the start of the protest. If he commented on a protest before the assult, say months ago, it would have be pro-palestinian. But since it was after the assult, and by timing in support of the start of the war, it was pro-hamas.

nothing is as disappointing as speaking to a young college student today. I said to one, "Do you realize that everything you know...was taught to you". And they don't get why that is a problem. My generation was taught the -process- of learning, skepticism, and critical thinking, and this provides some measure of objectivity, not having a single source of all knowledge.

Could it be that the youth, along with most of the rest of us are sick and tired of these forever wars. Denying the fact that the US led primarily by the right wing in both the US and Isreal can't wait to engage in war with Iran. This will prove to be a mistake. Now, while I detest any antisementism and hate, not all of the protests on campuses and worldwide are truly antisementism. This conflict is complex and what Hamas did was horrific, but the slaughter of Palestians in Gaza not to mention the humanitarian disaster at least begs for a pause to hope cooler heads prevail. Not all of us want WW3 like the vast majority of our politicians and media desire.
