Miguel, fantastic work. These cars are special, they are not comfortable to work on, but so worth it. Upload a video when you continue. I'm doing exactly that conversion. I saw that you have a e cut exhaust system. Upload a video about that !
For people that aren't familiar with fuel systems, these are NOT your normal AN fittings and lines. They are PTFE Lines. They are 100% different and e85 compatible. If you run e85 with normal an lines, your fuel will turn brown and it will eat the fuel lines up!!! You must use the PTFE lines and PTFE fittings! You will see that at 4:45. That is a PTFE fitting with the aluminum ferrule going into a black steel braided PTFE Fuel Line. IT'S NOT AN "AN" LINE! If you purchase AN fittings for PTFE E85 lines, THEY WILL LEAK! Please look up PTFE when swapping to E85.
Stock fuel lines are good up to 700-800whp on e85. I'm making almost 500whp on stock lines and running rich. all I have is a fuel pump and 900 cc injectors and an Aeromotive regulator. for fuel control, I'm using MAFT with GM maf sensor.
You get a shit idle with stock return line. Repurposing the stock line seems like a waste of time just make a new line and remove the hard line and everything will fit back under the cover.
How much does this cost you for all this man. I can't take my car to do this with anyone like you because I don't know anyone like this at a total cost I have trust issue and I have to be financially stable 😅
Do you have your AC system running? If so, do you have any problems with it? I had the dc fmic and my ac system blew the over pressure valve. I was told because there is so much hot air in front of the car, it's bound to happen.
You are doing great bro. Big motivator and inspiration for me. I'm hoping to get a DSM and 3000Gt like you in the future.
Thank you man. It isn’t easy at times but we’re still here 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Even though the 3000gt seems hard to work on, I want one. They seem like really unique and really cool cars.
Well worth the work they need. They stand out everywhere you go
@@MiguelDsmthey are also a cool bit of history
L
Getting so close to being back to 100%. Keep it up!
Just needs the oil pan and we’re set 🤙🏼
@@MiguelDsm I wanna get one of those extended pans eventually
Damn that engine is such a tight fit. Good video
Doing this soon to my 93 VR4! Beautiful build.
Well worth it considering how old the fuel system is on these cars. Thank you!
Didn't the same thing happen to the eclipse back when you did the awd conversion glad you are making progress keep going homie
Yup. Did an e85 fuel filter on the car as well way back in the day haha. Always man, thanks for watching
@MiguelDsm I been a supporter for a long time man I see your growth and I'm happy for you

love this car.. I want one to compliment my '97 GST Spyder.
Do it! Well recommended 👍🏼
Pretty awesome that shop lets you use some space and there to help you! Hopefully all goes well for the vr4!
Very grateful to have him. Hoping to take it home soon!
@@MiguelDsm I’m happy to hear that it might be safe from a low oil pressure issue!

You should flip VR4s. Gotta be money to be made.
If you want it done right do it twice! I hate dealing with leaks… stick with it, it’s going to pay off!
Learning to be patient with it. Hoping it comes back soon!

Good luck ^.^
Thank you!
Got that ghost rider fuel return mod I see
did the same thing to my eclipse
Perfect mod to replace the old hard lines on the car
Isn't the oem return still too small at the tank? Y not just drill out the oem return at the hanger and put a an bulkhead fitting?

Who did you say you used for tuning your car? I am tuned on 93 but want to create a e85 tune.
Why does it have an SL wing?
Awesome
Thanks for the support 🤜🏼🤛🏼
