I have a question, Mike. Maya 2020 comes with Arnold. Why does Arnold Maya Renderer is sold separately by Arnold then? Is there something in full version of renderer that is not included in embedded Arnold renderer that comes with Maya?
Hello Mike. I love your simple tutorials. I need your help, can you help me. I modeled birds and added added the color white. Then I created a physical sky but the birds have a blue hue to them and when I render the scene the birds color are still bluish. How can I fix this? Thank for your help
@@methlokaijufan9729 when we see something in the screen it means it was rendered viewable from its original digits saved in files into something we see by our own eyes. That's what's rendering is.
@@methlokaijufan9729 good question. But why do you want all frames to be rendered while you can only see one frame at the same time? Bear in mind that frames themselves are rendered in parts by scanline or small buckets. So you will never get the whole thing in one go whatever you do.

Thank you for your video Mike this was really helpfull! Altough can i ask you how can i render a sequence without background? i can do it on a single frame but not on a sequence :/
Not sure if you figured it out by now, but for the light, if you bring down "Camera" to 0 under visibility group of attributes in aiSkyDomeLightShape node, you can render sequence with effect of light on object (including shadows), but without physical dome showing in the background. You get clean alpha channel for your objects. I exported EXR sequence. I am sure this works with any image format capable of including alpha.
Is there a way to render bifrost effects in arnold? I heard you can if you convert it to a mesh. Didn't know if maybe you'd want to make a video about that if you haven't already.
first of all: 1. playback range of 100 is not the same as 140 in the end of the animation field: you checked it by yourself, thats why you paused the video. 2. you can look through the camera to set it up for the render range!! the same with alt + left middle right mouse button 3. Fcheck is a former tool inside maya. today there is the better playblast function under windows-> playblast -> optionfield thats are my two cents....
