    Roman, I just want to say, I really like your channel mate, the content is interesting and well presented, I get a load of ideas from you. this GoPro 10 review is great, a no-nonsense, and a real-to-life presentation of the little black box. Would enjoy more GoPro content. Keep it up sport. Next time, if and when we get back to the Old Dart for a visit maybe we can say G'day. I like to shake your hand....

    Any reason why you don't shoot in 25fps to synch with the uk electrical frequency and stop the flicker?

    • @snapsbyfox
      @snapsbyfox  2 роки тому +1

      i prefer 30 fps in terms of how the footage looks. i dont like 24/25 at all tbh….
      now that the new GoPro does 50fps 5k i might do these walks in that

    Hey man, really love the video. I was wondering if you might share your colour grading for the gopro, or any steps you take to match your fuji footage/photos. I mix a lot of GoPro and Fuji footage but struggle to colour the GoPro footage to match. Would love to see some kind of video on it!

    Firstly, epic channel and awesome shots!!! Brilliant stuff!
    Quick question, where do you place the GoPro when shooting or stabilizing with 2 hands? I assume that with the clip you either clip it on your t-shirt (where ever that might be) or stick it in your mouth (but then can't talk).
    Please can you give some clarity on the placement of the GoPro when you're not holding it? Shot bru and once again, thanks for the inspiration you bring to the table!

  • @JonS

    Why not record at 25fps? That (and 50fps) is the right frame rate for 50Hz mains countries to help prevent flicker.
    I've been thinking of trading in my Canon gear (5D MkII with quite a few L lenses) and getting an X-T4. I love full frame, but these days I need something more compact so I actually would take it out (these days I have kids in tow, so my Canon gear just ends up being left at home). Having said that, even my X100 has been used much since the first sprog landed in the scene.
    The other option is to go micro fourthirds, but I'm not sure that really saves enough body and lens size and weight to be worth the trade off.

    • @BenLovell80
      @BenLovell80 2 роки тому

      I used to shoot Fuji, now I have Sony full frame. The bodies are no bigger than a Fuji, at least not noticeably. Certainly smaller than your 5D.
      Some of the F1.4 lenses are big but there are plenty of excellent f1.8 and above lenses that are small and light. Check out the Sony 35mm f1.8 and 85mm F1.8. both relatively small and optically excellent.

    • @JonS
      @JonS 2 роки тому

      @@BenLovell80 aren't those FF lenses significantly larger/heavier than the Fuji APC ones?
      That said, my main resistance to Sony is their horrible UI. That even goes to their physical controls. My brother is a photojournalist, and shoots with two Sony bodies (having switched from Nikon). Often he'll switch camera (he has them with different lenses) and only later find the settings have completely changed as the camera bounced around on its strap.

      @BenLovell80 2 роки тому

      @@JonS Fuji 23mm f2 - 180grams, Sony 35mm f1.8 - 281 grams. Both pretty light I'd say.
      You won't go wrong with either, the Fujis are great.

    Great video as usual. Qq- do you, or have, ever found that people react negatively to been in your pictures? You read from time to time about photographers having issues with people on the streets.

    • @snapsbyfox
      @snapsbyfox  2 роки тому +3

      not really Chris. Photographers having issues usually just behaved weird. Even if you get stopped by someone frustrating there are 2000 ways to defuse the situation. Some people though almost get offended in terms of “how dare you stoop / question me” especially with security guards…. it’s all how you react, your intentions and humility

  • @StewartMarsden
    @StewartMarsden 2 роки тому

    Nice video and nice street work.. That flashing is the frame rate - artificial lights flicker faster than the eye can see, your frame rate picks it up, try a ND filter to slow the shutter down maybe - but that's a pain when filming I know..

    • @snapsbyfox
      @snapsbyfox  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah its annoying. On a proper camera I can simply adjust the shutter speed to 1/100 which removes it here in the UK. however on the GoPro it is a huge pain

      fair comment, the answer is that the location and lighting lend to me going for those kinds of photos. If you watch my Lisbon POV the other week then you will see different photos. If you watch my NC500 video then even more different photos. Finally i dont get bored because i enjoy taking photos even if it’s the same location and the same types of photos
