Hmmm, being the Greymon stan i am i figured id give my thoughts. First of all, fantastic visual presentation Avault. Top notch as always in that department. Alot of the choices for this build are textbook and i agree with. I have a hard time (personally) justifying MetalGreyACE usage in the build competitively when we are better off with Bt12, more Bt9 MGX or even Bt8 MGM as a 1x for the dedigivolve/Permanent Raid inheritable for Bt14 WGM. The Bt14 Tais arent really needed due to the deck alresdy having high DP as is. Although there is merit gaining memory back when you cross over "blitzing" with Bt14 WGM or WGX. But i just think the slot they take up could be used for another Bt12 Tai or a third Bt1 Tai to help guarantee the OTK. Ex1 Greymon works amazing i just have a hard wanting to use him when Bt5 Grey works so much better in tandem with Bt14 Agumon. All in all i enjoyed the video and hope it works well for you.
Hey BboyStunna, I agree with your write up, just wondering what you would go down on to add back in the Hades force. I am in a meta at locals with a lot of hybrid players, a machinedramon, and a few Digi police, shine, and Fenri players. I want 2 of it still to handle the analog youths, hybrid tamers and analog man, or do you think I should just go full gas and ignore what they do and just play OTK.
@ZeroKOR1 take out an Offense Training for Hades. I run 3x instead of 4 now and I still see OT alot so it can be adjusted for your meta whether you utilize Hades, Crimson Blaze or what have you.
Thanks so much for sharing the detailed insight and breakdown! I find the most fun thing with WarGreymon is that there are so many different choices when it comes down to deck building allowing players to come up with various builds!
@@AVAULT💯 % the build is sooo flexible that there is no wrong way to build it it all just comes down to personal preference and ones locals or how the meta shifts. For example if SecCon or killspells become ramped again Bt1 WGM will find its place back in (probably over a slot for Bt14 WGM or 1 WGX.) OR when Ex5/Bt15 rolls around having WGX there to blow up MelgaX is going to be very important if you can't raid it due to its saving inheritable.
Currently testing the metal ace. It's the most lack luster of the ace cards but still worth trying out. In a pinch if you can keep it on board, it's a quick way to get to mega with limited cards and memory. Its very searchable in the deck and the deletion does come up. Agreed on bt5 greymon.
Only recently got into the Digimon card game as I wanted to see if it was for me and discovered your channel and actually been binging through to get a good understanding for everything and want to say thanks and all the best with everything 🎉
Bt5 greymon is a must with the new agumon. Evo agumon in back and pass turn with an option or tamer (preferably black tai). Next turn promote agumon and evo into bt5 greymon for free. Gain 1 memory off of greymon and 1 off if tai. If you started your turn at 1, you now have 3. If your even more blessed you got greymon x cost reduction to go into bt12 metal greymon for 1 cost and then pass or blitz turn into mega. So with 1 memory you go from rookie to mega putting your opponent at 1-2 memory. If no greymon x you put your opponent at 3-4 memory.
Love the video my friend likes the wargreymon deck so this helps build what cards he needs for his. Hope to see more battle vault soon for blast ace and the ghost game characters deck
Nice deck. Given me some food for thought for a return to Wargrey. Though I'll always be a Blackwargrey fan at heart and that will always be my go to deck.
BT14 WarGreymon can’t unsuspend after attacking…so there’s that! I’m glad you noted you’re testing MetalGreymon ACE. Seeing those two copies take one slot away from the 2nd Alterous Mode is rough, particularly in a meta of go-wide and blast-digivolve opponents. They didn’t give it Blitz because then, theoretically, they’d need to give it Rush as well. That would be a bit too much - being able to hard drop Agu and warp into BT14 WarGrey to swing for lethal would be silly. Two copies of BT14 Tai Kamiya is tough - like you said, it’s not as good as BT12 Tai Kamiya - but it has some utility here for sure. Fun thought: would you consider swapping out just one copy for Tai Kamiya & Kari Kamiya? The thinking is that it’s an alternative way to gain memory, gives a very similar 2k support when swinging into security, and help a MetalGreymon X swing for 3-4 checks feel even safer
@@Hulavuta, He's talking about 7:07 where AVAULT comments on the use of a personalized effect instead of using the Blitz keyword. Blitz would apply if the digivolution caused the memory to go over your opponent's side. But in another cenario, where the memory stayed on your side, the WarGreymon wouldn't attack. To have the same effect then, you'd need to add the Rush keyword too.
You can't attack with Blitz if you were played that turn anyway, unless you had Rush. I'm just not sure why they said they would HAVE to give it Rush, like I don't think there's any rules contradiction there. Plenty of Digimon have Blitz but not Rush, for example Gaiomon or Jesmon.
BT-14 Koromon is situationally better when attacking with Security Attack Plus effects. BT-5 Koromon would net one draw for the entire attack, while BT-14 would net one draw per Security card removed. The trade off for BT-14 Koromon is that a Raid without Pierce would draw no cards.
It's not Agumons ability, but Wargreymon's ability that allows it to digivolve off an Agumons. It can actually digivolve off any Agumons into Wargreymon because of that ability.
EX1 Greymon is arguably worse than BT12 Greymon, because for the deck you'd like to keep one stack, preferably in Raising. Being an ESS effect, in order to make it meaningful you have to risk one Greymon X or even worse one MetalGreymon (and the 3 memory used to digivolve it). If you've already reached WarGreymon, you probably don't need any more Tai. For the same reason, I'd argue BT14 Koromon is better, because you can attack with hard-cast searcher Agumons and get a draw without risking the main stack. For the same reason, BT14 Tai isn't that good because you want those memory before your attack so you can reach WarGreymon. The simplest combo is just to reach BT12 MetalGreymon In Raising, evolve into MetalGreymon X, evolve to BT12 WarGreymon. With another SA+1 and an opposing active Digimon, you check 3+3. Finish with Omnimon. SA+1 could be from either ST1 Greymon or BT1 Tai. I prefer BT1, because then you can ditch ST1 Greymon for BT12. With that, you can play Tai easier, because the problem of Greymon deck is that all Tais are heavy as none of them searches or gives immediate advantage. That's why I'd argue that BT12 WG is still superior, because it's easier to get 3 checks twice than five check once. BT14 WG, in ordrr to reach 5, needs: 1) ST1 Greymon 2) BT1 Tai 3) MetalGreymon X 4) not being Warp Digivolved as BT1 Tai wouldn't work. If you warped, the best it can do is 2 checks and it still needs Tai on field, which may cost you 1 turn if you don't run BT12 Greymon. Plus if you have BT12 Tai, BT12 WG may act as a defensive clutch thanks to Reboot and being able to block twice.
agreed. you can attack with lv2-less Agumon (because many will be played to search) and still get a draw. and most of the time you don't really want to attack with Greymon as it would be your main stack and risk losing it.
Hey guys! Be sure to check out the avaultstore.com! Promos and details are in the description! Thank you all for the support!

Why would giving it Blitz mean giving it Rush?

It's a great deck profile, I'm waiting for your BWGX version¡¡

Is there a written deck list?
Tbh, the metalgreymon Ace is not worth the risk. Other than that, the decklist seems good
Is the X antibody important?
I can only get ST15/BT14
probably BT12 if i was lucky
same goes to the rest of the grey X line
Can you please do a victory Greymon variant please
now g omamon can quit greymon x so, definetly i will use it on my mirage deck
If it can only go into Greymon specifically why put the wargreymon over it?
It's not Agumons ability, but Wargreymon's ability that allows it to digivolve off an Agumons.
It can actually digivolve off any Agumons into Wargreymon because of that ability.
Can we get a Gomamon deck profile
For sure! Stay tuned!
now we want the list on a black basis

Working on it so be sure to stay tuned!
preferring metal ace to metal bt12 is madness
I don’t play this deck, this deck plays me 😅
Bt14 Koro is much better
