Imagine being a sentient arcade cabinet recently being discontinued who raises a human baby with a walking forklift, burdened with the sense of paranoia against an astronaut because an alien tried to digest your infant.
I love the way the overarching plot is set up by this pilot. You have two dumb heroes protecting a defenseless baby from a carnivorous alien that can convincingly disguise himself as anything, and an antihero human who just wants to save the baby and get everyone off the Danger Planet, but is also being avoided and her job made harder because of a completely realistic misunderstanding. You could get an entire first season of stories from that dynamic alone, and how it's developed and explored could create a fantastic series.
I honestly think this was better than the Uncle Grandpa short. This should really have been greenlit by CN, it's pretty original and I think that they certainly could have worked with it to serialize the show.

this was adorable, and the art style and designs were really amazing. the alien especially. a lot of fun possibilities with a shape shifter. even as something that didnt go to series this is a nice fun one off special.

Guys, if you really want this to be a series . . . share it! Spread the word! Post it on social media, show it to your friends, draw fanart of it. It has a better chance of becoming a show if more people know about it/are interested in it, which is what worked for Adventure Time and Bee & Puppycat.
In my opinion this pilot was really interesting and fun and some of jokes was really nice and I think this cartoon is more suitable if it is broadcast on Nickelodeon than cartoon network

there actually is a lot f potential if you think,1. they caan take the ship and go to earth second the alien can shapeshift and follow thwm ,the characters have personality like ibn the old cartoons cartoons they are likeable all of them including the alien if they make these a show it would give many ratings to cn beside its dark humor gives the all 90 feeling (courage,old scooby doo,billy and mandy,cow and chicken,hector con carne)
Reminds me a bit of adventure time, the creator Derek Drymon worked on season 1, I can see a lot of the influences, also he kept the same baby voice from when he did spongebob xD.

It's sad that these shorts didn't get green lighted for a series. Regular Show was the only short greenlighted :( I like how the danger planet guy's emotion can easily be creative.
