hand rearing baby canaries

Unfortunate events caused the loss of mommy and daddy birds. The mom pulled all the back feathers out of the dad while I was at work. I assume the stress caused him to pass. She laid her eggs, hatched them, and was doing well raising them. I suspect it was to hard for her to raise this many chicks on her own... One week after they hatched I came home from work to find she passed and left very hungry chicks in the nest. I had to try and give them a chance though I didn't expect them to survive. I had a chicken egg incubator and research showed the need to stay at 90° so I was able to keep them warm. I've been feeding them for about a week now and luckily, so far every one is thriving...

The basket is very small and it is very uncomfortable to the babies. You should have arranged little big basket

there's no need to use just the yolk. Egg white is protein and the babies need a high protein diet.

Hello to everyone Please I want Answer I have a female canary has three chicks aged week the mom do not feed the chicks and then i went to shops selling birds and gave me a good and useful its name parrot hand rearing formula its for all chicks for the chicks food but the chicks do not open them mouth because they are young can i open there mouth and feed them I do not want them to die I mean normal if i opened beak chick and enter the syringe needle to feed them foods greetings
