Well why‘s it interesting to learn German but not to learn English, Japanese or w/e? If you find a language interesting you should learn it. And btw in an interview she said she is interested in learning German but stopped it to learn English first because it‘s more useful right now.
Robbie Bubble No, what I meant was, it's interesting that she's learning German because not a lot Kpop stars tend to study that. I can see why she would learn Japanese, Chinese, and English because the Kpop industry mostly focuses on countries that specifically speak those languages. BTS and SNSD has songs that are in Japanese and Korean. Jessica had her songs sung in two different versions as well (Korean and English). Exo sand in Chinese and Korean as well.
Afaik many Asian people are interested in German language. Don't know about Korea but I've got a friend living in Japan and he told me. Also in anime and stuff you often see German words being used.

@@luzbiz9668 Agreed, that's part of what makes Dreamcatcher so absurdly good vocally. They're not just crazy skilled and don't have a single weak singer, their voices also complement each other super well. They're right up there with Mamamoo in the absolute top tier of vocal groups in the whole industry.
Siyeon has more technical skill but Yoohyeon is so clear, purely sound-wise her voice is my favorite of DC (her lows!). They really are the only group I've seen, of any gender, that gets close to Mamamoo in vocals or presence; but Dreamcatcher has more visuals and orders of magnitude better choreography. Moosomnias unite! Love them both. It really is possible.

@jocriss I think you heard wrongly. I may have been wrong about the autotune part, but the key that they were both singing is the same, and Dreamcatcher is singing the same octave as the Wish girl. They both were singing in the original octave, so why don't you listen to all three of them again.
Only a few singers in Kpop that make me emotional with their singing voice. And Dreamcatcher has two of them.

Guys! I don't think we realize the gravity of the situation! Aside from the fact that this song is an awesome choice to show off her vocal range, the song's meaning is couldn't be more perfect for her. It's about forbidden love. She's a Kpop star who has to deal w/ dating restrictions.
Also let's not forget that iconic moment where she denied the word "man" in the interview where they asked about her ideal partner and replaced it w/ "person". This song speaks to the people of the LGBTQ+ community which we know that Yoohyeon at the very least supports. Which I might also mention is not accepted in South Korea.

Apparently, I never commented on this video?? I've been listening to it for about as long as I've been stanning Dreamcatcher! I remember that the day I heard this cover for the first time, I started crying uncontrollably, and I kept crying whenever I thought about it for the rest of the week. I'm not sure if Yoohyeon relates to this song or if she's just an amazing actor, but the emotions in her voice sound REAL. So very real.
At the time, I wasn't out to anyone except a few friends. My classmates avoided me after I came out, but my parents have chosen to support me and I'm at a college that's much more accepting now. But with the state of the country and the world... I hope I never have to hide again

I don't agree she's among the best in the industry but I do agree she's very extremely underrated for what she can do. She deserves to be much more known for what she can do. This is a difficult song to sing without shouting and she handles the fragile parts very well. I'm surprised she's not even the main vocal in dreamcatcher! I'm just a random stranger who came across this video but I really love how she properly pronounced each words fluently😳 Many Korean singers sing english songs but not as fluent as hers.
And the control in her voice!! The emotion in her voice is also something 😍 Overall, I think she's an awesome singer.

Cecille yoohyeon actually studied english when she was younger, she can even speak it fluently with barely any accent.
SHE just released a new solo song (search Yoohyeon solo stage). The english is perfect. She also speaks english & sounds like a California girl

I used to listen to mostly metal specially when I was a teen. I found kpop girl groups and now I just don't care anymore. One moment it's Pantera the next minute or so it's Anthrax then all of a sudden it's either RV, Tw, BP or Dreamcatcher. I might even throw a hook at anybody who'd laugh at my playlist.

Yoohyeon's voice is really good. I totally agree if she is positioned as the main vocalist with Siyeon.
Yoohyeon's being a lead singer because her voice is perfect for opening the chorus. From their first debut "Chase me" to "Boca, it's almost always been our girl to open it. That be said, lead vocalist can be as good as main vocalist, they just have different role in a song ^^.
And when you are confused who have what role, you know you are stanning talent. Stan Dreamcatcher everyone!

@@andrea-kg6pg I mean yeah but not just to compared who's better because both vocal is pretty different, and they compliment each other's very well, take "4 Memory" for example.
On the other note, Siyeon's vocal capability is really out of world, versatility and range and techniques at that level is rare.
But we should celebrate because Dreamcatcher got both, and let's not forget Sua and Dami vocal, they are just as good to take in consideration.

that's what I always think. She has such strong support for her notes , if she gives a shot for Siyeon's high notes she might actually have more support than her. But her vocal tone doesn't have that rock/pop vibe similar to our Siyeon, maybe this is why Yoohyeon is lead in Dreamcatcher given that dc is a more rock/jpop/dark/mysterious vibe group. Might as well call both of them main while Sua and Jiu leads. (i wish Gahyeon and Handong could be more than just vocalists :( maybe in a year Gahyeon a visual and Handong a Lead rapper given that she doesn't actually sing much)
