💥 BOOOM 💥 I could not believe my eyes after that lap when checked the Laptime .. that lap felt never ever like my personal best laptime 🤣 Some traffic ... touched many Curbs i never touched before .. missed some lines .. misshifts out of some sections 🫣 Cant believe that this was my fastest lap ever! BUT .. YEAH .. it is what it is ... good that there is still much to improve 👍🏻 PS: THAT MANTHEY TRACKDAY WAS AWESOME!!! More videos are coming ;)

💥 BOOOM 💥 Ich konnte es kaum glauben als ich nach der Runde die Rundenzeit gecheckt habe ... diese Runde fühlte sich null wie meine persönliche Bestzeit an 🤣 Etwas Verkehr ... viele unnötige Curbs, die ich vorher nie berührt habe ... vermasselte Linien ... in einigen Abschnitten falsch geschaltet 🫣 Kann nicht glauben, dass das meine schnellste Runde überhaupt war! ABER ... YEAH ... es ist wie es ist ... gut, dass es noch viel zu verbessern gibt 👍🏻 PS: DER MANTHEY TRACKDAY WAR MEEEEGA !!! Mehr Videos kommen noch ;)

yea, second half was nice and fluid. There was a difference noticeable to further laps in the past. But i guess the cup2 r‘s were relatively sticky atm too..

When I saw the notification on my smartphone I literally jumped to the UA-cam video! Great driving as always and you lost probably 2 seconds with the slower guys in Hatzenbach and Fuchshore! I don't know but it seems like the car can go a little bit faster round Schwendenkreuz... But congratulations anyway! What a lap! ;)

na da isser ja wieder schnell ! Echt mit Pirelli Trofeo R - ich hätte bei den KurvenTempi (GPS!) eher auf Cup2R getippt ... (Cup2R habe ich mal probiert = out of head, haben aber auch nur 100km gehalten 😞)

Ja da geht zum Glück noch was … aber ne 6 vorne werde ich denke nicht hinbekommen … bei dem Speed sind 5-8 Sekunden echt sehr viel.

Why is the timing start point different to the stopping point?
During touristenfahrten you have to get off the track earlier than you got on the track .. so you can’t drive full speed on Döttinger Höhe .. that’s why you have BTG time (bridge to gantry) or full lap for official lap times
What pace, still with room for less time if you get lucky with traffic. Impressive!

Hi Thilo, ich habe eine kurze Frage. Ich mache Aufnahmen mit einer GoPro und stelle immer wieder fest, dass Deine Aufnahmen optisch deutlich schneller aussehen als meine Aufnahmen. (i know, Du bist auch deutlich schneller ;-) Trotzdem kommen mir die Aufnahmen extrem langsam vor. Darf ich nach deinen Kamerasettings fragen? Welches Sichtfeld, ISO, FPS etc. hast Du denn eingestellt? Vielen Dank und viele Grüße, Julian
Hi Julian .. mensch jetzt hast du mir direkt schon die Vorlage zerstört das du schneller fahren musst 😅😅 es wird wahrscheinlich an dem sichtfeld liegen. Nehme 4K60fps auf .. nehme an du auch. Aber habe nicht den weitesten Weitwinkel eingestellt. Bei der DJI Action sind die Winkel anders als befindet GoPro aber ich nehme an du hast wahrscheinlich nicht so viel Weitwinkel eingestellt? 🤷🏽♂️

Yes .. during touristenfahrten it’s not allowed. This was a Trackday 👍🏼

Brakes are pretty good on ceramic. About 60 laps I think 🤔
@@xthilox that's fantastic. I watch Misha's videos of him hammering visitors cars from the UK and most of them failed braking performance half way through the lap or their brake pads completely destroyed by the end of the lap. Ceramic is awesome 👍😎
@@borinvlogs yeah brakes are one of the most important things to upgrade (or Porsche 🤣🤣) when you come down to breidscheid you really can smell if you will overtake a car in a few seconds which is not prepared for the ring 🤣

@@xthilox I’m considering Trofeo but not sure how long they last (I use cup2, and the cup2 R are too expensive). It was a good day, the track was good once it had dried out in the afternoon

@@greyhobbit Hi, I´ve tried Cup2R on my Cayman S in summer heat (35°C) - worn after 100km (really) _ but also Cup2 only did around 600km. Both driven hard @ Sachsenring

Sauber Thilo, sehr starke saubere Runde, wie schon geschrieben, ohne den Verkehr an der Ellen Lohr Kurve, Fuchsröhre wärst sicher unter 7:10 geblieben. Sei es wie es ist, stark gefahren!

Mega gute und Geile Runde aber der Bonus von der langen Geraden hat auch einiges an Zeit gebracht ;-). Weil ich denke es macht schon ein Unterschied ob man von da rauskommt und losfährt oder mit 270 durchpläkkt 😉
