Thank you your amazing the way you teach I practice even at work but I don't show no one tell it just looks like real magic I need more practice on conversation well preforming I am new to magic just over a year I only can successfully do 3 tricks then I tell them till next time so far I have not been caught by anyone that I've shown my tricks to but your awesome man
So clean. I like that you left the camera running throughout, showing many instances of the move in context, with no cuts needed because you never dropped. It shows how much you had to practice for this to become something you can count on as both reliable and natural looking.
Thanks for more coin magic, Jay! The science of persuasion is SUPER interesting to me. I love learning about all the little hidden levers in our brains.
Love how fluid these moves are! Without missing a beat and even after knowing the secret, it STILL looks like the coin appears from thin air. Thanks, Jay!
As a scarecrow man I personally struggled with this one but nothing a week of practice can’t fix! Thanks for sharing these amazing techniques, rare to find tutorials this good on UA-cam 💯
I think you are awesome magician . I have far too much arthritis to do what you do so easily . But I do appreciate your talent and truly enjoy watching you . Thank you for being your knowledge and sharing your talent and love for magic to videos .
This is really cool! It's nice to see a professional magician giving recognition to past magicians for what they did. You are so great at that, it shows you really care about the art and the people. Amazing as always Jay!
SankeyMagic Years ago I would go to coffee shops and hang out with friends and other magicians and I had a magician friend of mine give me a coffee called a Red Eye, (black coffee mixed with black espresso) and I enjoyed the taste to much I've been drinking black coffee ever since. I just enjoy the taste and it helps me relax☕️
I had a magician at my birthday party when I was a kid, like about 11 years ago. He did the one-hand vanish, and until today I had STILL never known how he did it - and I'm a magician! This move is amazing.
Oh this is so clean and graceful, I love it! The production at the end is perfect... definitely going to practice this one because sooner or later the French drop won't fool my kids anymore :)
Thank you Jay! For picking me as one of the winners. Its the first time I won something from a magician. Something that interests me is anything thats like psychology or misdirection. Also things that you Jay are interested in. Thank you again for picking me and God Bless you, your family and Chris and his family.
This was so good! You're always top notch on the finer details that really help with the illusion. Angles. Positions. Touches you can add to propel the effect. A very good teacher who knows what he's talking about. This trick is so basic and yet has so much potential when mastered as you showed at the end of the vid
I'm so interested in the psychology of magic. The "art of deception", as you so elegantly refer to it, is such an amazing idea. Looking forward to the new channel. Much love and respect to you.
I love how you give proper credit where it is due, and, i would love it if you made a video on speaking to people in modern terms/ connection with local speech. LOVE YA!
As much as I love all of your work, this by far is my favourite. That last segment of classic palm to finger tip and into Tenkai palm to the one coin production is simply beautiful. Thankyou for sharing your passion
Awesome tutorial as always 👍 I was just wondering is there anything you do to help with the dexterity of your hands and fingers? Or is it literally just constant repetition of the actual movement?
A topic I would be interested in is how to control and play with the attention of the spectators. I know you explain in a lot of your videos how the spectator is misdirected in crucial moments, like in this one too. But I'm very interested in this topic in general since a while, because I think that playing with the spectators attention and his expectations is a very important part of magic. I would love to hear your thoughts on this!
another awesome one like usual will definitely try it at school but the thing is I don't like a lot of practice because I am so excited to see the reactions
LOL. I can relate man. But if you really want those HUGE reactions - you've gotta put in the time on the practicing. In fact, if you can learn to LOVE to practice...then there's no limit to how amazing you will become.
I guess I'll do good in my grades and ask my parents to buy me an Inside Deception to support my favorite magician and for me to learn ;) Keep it up Jay!
Hi jay! Beautiful and brilliant as always, thank you. I'm really interested in your thoughts on how to approach people on the street, in a bar etc with the intention of showing a trick. Another would be approaching business owners to build rapport and credibility as an entertainer. The psychology of confidence would be great. How to make yourself more memorable and bookable... should I go on? ;)
i like card tricks but your coin tricks made me wanna start with coin magic not that i have but i want to. its just something about "there it is and now its not" that boggles the mind
I would like to learn more about the powers of persuasion BUT WITH A TWIST. At work, I deal with some not-so-rational patients, usually because of some chemical influence (simply put, they're drunk or high). It would be nice to hear what you do to deal with intoxicated hecklers and how to get them to, not only be respectful, but have them _want_ to participate in a trick. (Or in my case, _want_ to go to the hospital to sober up before the cops get them all pissed off by threatening arrest.) Not much is worse than an agitated, uncooperative, drunk guy in an ambulance. I hope that all makes sense. Thanks, Jay! Can't wait for the new channel's debut video!
Thank Jay - that is just a beautiful slight & your description of the modified way of getting into it was very instructive. I'm going to have to work on that to get over my fear of dropping the damn coin! I'd be interested in tips for improving ad lib patter to fill in time (as I'm not as fast as you) - when I do it it feels forced.
Awesome Jay! Last time I dealt with anything this "visceral" I had to get a shot of penicillin to get rid of it. :-) Keep the great content coming my friend. And to answer your question, How to make approaching people in street magic easier and more comfortable?.?.
Yes yes yes. It ALLLLL comes down to people's underlying sense of safety. Truly. And magic can spark a wide range of anxieties. On the new channel, I'll be all over dat.
A topic that interests me is physics. I'm a university physics student so it is quite important to me. Also I find it quite interesting to implement my physics knowledge to help create a stronger magic effect.
This one is too sick. I'm usually the guy in the band that sells the t-shirts after the gigs. I'm trying to get good at bringing people to the t-shirt table hahahaha. That and magic is just awesome, I always look forward to these
Hi Jay, it would definitely be awesome if you could touch on confidence and persuasion on your new channel. Even though i do have your Restaurant and Bars DVD, I'm still very nervous when it comes to approaching restaurants
I also love psychology, no lie. It also helps that it is kinda related to magic.btw I would love to win rev coin magic, because I know to many card tricks
Cool trick, thanks for showing not just the trick itself, but other variations with it as well :) On your new channel i would love to see some acting tips. While doing a trick, how NOT to be "just" a magician, but someone, who is worth watching. You know, how to make magic more interesting to others :)
Actually did this with a single coin, already in pinch. Showed the lady my fists, turned and opened them up (empty, of course). Instead of dropping the coin in one hand, I clapped my hand down on top of the other, them rubbed it a little, then lifted my hand to reveal the coin. She was amazed. First time I've experienced that. Thanks to you, sir.
This is indeed next level stuff but, it also necessary stuff to learn and practice. Remember the old to show the new. The Tenkai palm is hard to get at first but, so worth the effort when you get it. (master it? I'll let you know in about a 100 years)
I'm interested in confidence, and how much it actually affects us. I've noticed that if I start off an evening with a bad performance, that sort-of dictates how the whole night plays out.
Sooooooooooooooooooooo true man. I've been there a zillion times. But I've got a bunch of cool tips and insights about 'the big C' that I'm excited to share on the new channel.

LOVE the coin tutorials! This one in particular is fantastic. Thanks for making it!
Thanks boss. I love coin magic too! It's just so very special.
Jay, you are too generous with us!
This video has a content for 3-4 separate videos!
Thanks!!
Thanks for more coin magic, Jay! The science of persuasion is SUPER interesting to me. I love learning about all the little hidden levers in our brains.
Damn - I love that imagery!
Jay Sankey is my favorite teacher. Such a delightful human being and master teacher.
Love how fluid these moves are! Without missing a beat and even after knowing the secret, it STILL looks like the coin appears from thin air.
Thanks, Jay!
Revolutionary coin magic. Always be my hero.
As a scarecrow man I personally struggled with this one but nothing a week of practice can’t fix! Thanks for sharing these amazing techniques, rare to find tutorials this good on UA-cam 💯
I love listening to you explain how you use psychology to interact with people. Leading the misdirection with your words and body movements.
Nice tecnics. I'm magician for 6 years a go. Very Job my friend, very fast change coin.
I think you are awesome magician . I have far too much arthritis to do what you do so easily . But I do appreciate your talent and truly enjoy watching you . Thank you for being your knowledge and sharing your talent and love for magic to videos .
Thanks for this one I really needed it to polish up a routine
Possibly the best channel for magic on UA-cam! Thank you, Mr. Sankey!
I have to admit that the 2nd and 3rd part fooled me. Thanks for sharing.
This is really cool! It's nice to see a professional magician giving recognition to past magicians for what they did. You are so great at that, it shows you really care about the art and the people. Amazing as always Jay!
Thanks for the kind words. What is it about coffee you like so much?
SankeyMagic Years ago I would go to coffee shops and hang out with friends and other magicians and I had a magician friend of mine give me a coffee called a Red Eye, (black coffee mixed with black espresso) and I enjoyed the taste to much I've been drinking black coffee ever since. This is an epic tutorial. Please show us more of this expert technique . Thanks for the tutorial by the way.
Oh this is so clean and graceful, I love it! The production at the end is perfect... definitely going to practice this one because sooner or later the French drop won't fool my kids anymore :)
LOL!
Jay... This is so generous of you. Thank you!
No more than you comment bud.

That was AWESOME Jay, now it's practice time. . .
WAAAA SO GODDAMN CLEAN!!!!! I CANT HANDLE IT
Awesome! LOL. Glad you like it Gilles.
I'm so interested in the psychology of magic. The "art of deception", as you so elegantly refer to it, is such an amazing idea. Looking forward to the new channel. Much love and respect to you.
Very nice, Jay. You pay respect to others so well, too.
I always love the many variations you suggest in all your tutorials! This video was excellent, loved the historic info also, thanks!!
Exceptional tutorial. Excellently explained.
I love how you give proper credit where it is due, and, i would love it if you made a video on speaking to people in modern terms/ connection with local speech.
LOVE YA!
Lots of love right back at ya Will! U rock.
I have to say, you're really awesome. Your dedication and patience is admirable and inspiring.
As much as I love all of your work, this by far is my favourite. That last segment of classic palm to finger tip and into Tenkai palm to the one coin production is simply beautiful. Thankyou for sharing your passion

LOL. I can relate man. But if you really want those HUGE reactions - you've gotta put in the time on the practicing. In fact, if you can learn to LOVE to practice...then there's no limit to how amazing you will become.

Keep it up Jay!
awesome jay, I like the fact that it can work in many ways;)
If I would have come up with this move, I would never reveal it! You are awesome! :)
That’s awesome thank you! What’s that tattoo on your right forearm closet to your elbow? It reminds me of the Corsair tattoo from Doctor Who.
Hi jay! Beautiful and brilliant as always, thank you.
I'm really interested in your thoughts on how to approach people on the street, in a bar etc with the intention of showing a trick.
Another would be approaching business owners to build rapport and credibility as an entertainer.
The psychology of confidence would be great. How to make yourself more memorable and bookable... should I go on? ;)
It's mesmerising watching you do stuff like this Jay xD
Just found your channel. It's so dang good.
i like card tricks but your coin tricks made me wanna start with coin magic not that i have but i want to. its just something about "there it is and now its not" that boggles the mind
I like it jay ,I like it. (As always) keep up the great videos
Have a great day Jordan!
I'd like to see more on your channel about engagement with people and bringing magic from 'Look at how awesome I am' to 'This world is magical.'
how cool is that , love it
I would like to learn more about the powers of persuasion BUT WITH A TWIST. Just beautiful
Thx so much Adil.
i love this guy
Beautiful
I would be interested in learning some ways to make routines more interactive with the audience
Ayeeeee, I’ll have this down in no time (8 months)
I'm betting on 7!
Sankey Card Tricks is Amazing..
I'm interested in all of those topics, but especially in the psychology behind public speaking. I really look forward to your new channel :)
Nice teaching video sir
am amazed
Thank Jay - that is just a beautiful slight & your description of the modified way of getting into it was very instructive. I'm going to have to work on that to get over my fear of dropping the damn coin! I'd be interested in tips for improving ad lib patter to fill in time (as I'm not as fast as you) - when I do it it feels forced.
I know EXACTLY what you mean. Being 'in the moment' truly takes guts - but the rewards are ENORMOUS. More on this - on the new channel Chris.
Great man!!
Love the way you tech...
Awesome Jay! Last time I dealt with anything this "visceral" I had to get a shot of penicillin to get rid of it. :-) Keep the great content coming my friend. And to answer your question, How to make approaching people in street magic easier and more comfortable?.?.

A topic that interests me is definately how to connect with people, it’s easy if you know them well but I would like to do it with strangers too.
Where do you get that awesome gold coin?
This one is too sick. I'm usually the guy in the band that sells the t-shirts after the gigs. I'm trying to get good at bringing people to the t-shirt table hahahaha. That and magic is just awesome, I always look forward to these
Very cool job man. Great way to see what makes people tick.
Very good
Damn! so clean... thanks for sharing!
Sure thang!
Jay your the best
Nice jay, very nice.
So excited for the new channel? I love the idea of persuasion, imagine the mischeif 🙄🙄🙄 haha
That's probably the best display of obviously empty hands I've ever seen.
Hi Jay, it would definitely be awesome if you could touch on confidence and persuasion on your new channel. Even though i do have your Restaurant and Bars DVD, I'm still very nervous when it comes to approaching restaurants
Yes indeed.
I also love psychology, no lie. It also helps that it is kinda related to magic.btw I would love to win rev coin magic, because I know to many card tricks
Is there a minimum or maximun sized coins you should use for this?
what inch that you can take
Would love to see things like scripting and routine building on your new channel
Cool trick, thanks for showing not just the trick itself, but other variations with it as well :) On your new channel i would love to see some acting tips. While doing a trick, how NOT to be "just" a magician, but someone, who is worth watching. You know, how to make magic more interesting to others :)
Ain't THAT one of the big challenges! Great topic. I'd def upload a video on it!
Wow
Nice trick 👍
Thanks!
The persuasion of sort of hypnotizing people, where you make them think they are doing something on their own conscience when you make them do it.
Best of all the megic
I would like to see a topic on "Misdirection" I can distract, though that only gets me so far and limits who I can perform for.
Hi man i want you to make a video on how to make one coin routine please
nice....
This is indeed next level stuff but, it also necessary stuff to learn and practice. Remember the old to show the new. The Tenkai palm is hard to get at first but, so worth the effort when you get it. (master it? I'll let you know in about a 100 years)
You and be both bro.
I'm interested in confidence, and how much it actually affects us. I've noticed that if I start off an evening with a bad performance, that sort-of dictates how the whole night plays out.
Rob Jacque you do gigs I’m assuming
Sooooooooooooooooooooo true man. I've been there a zillion times. But I've got a bunch of cool tips and insights about 'the big C' that I'm excited to share on the new channel.
I would like to learn about comedy because that is a very important part of magic and I really need to incorporate more comedy into my performances
For me the best topic seems to be persuation
