Oh no, it’s actually considered quite bad luck to take Pōhaku away when you leave Hawai’i because they are sacred 😅 Believe it or not, you can actually “repatriate” them so to speak. If you Google search Lava Rock Return it should pop up That being said, at the end of the day it’s just a small thing and you obviously didn’t know it wasn’t allowed. Perhaps just offer a thanks to Pele for letting you snag 2 of her rocks on your way out 😉
