I was on a seminar with Tom Campbell in São Paulo, Brazil. On that occasion, I asked him if the idea of Simulated Reality, described in terms closely related to information technology and computing, wasn't just a metaphor. He didn't understand my question and diverted his attention to someone else's questions. I was a bit lost because the question was very important to me. I was seeing his theory expressed in terms that were very similar to the mechanicism of 17th century science. I'm very happy because today, finally, my question has been answered! Metaphors serve as a tool to express something that our mind is experiencing and that we can't put into spoken or written language because you can't convey the totality of the experience to someone who hasn't lived it. Of course, he said much more than that... :-) Thank you Tom and Donna, I love you to infinity and beyond! ✨🚀💫⚡✨
if you wanna write me (add the dzeee-mäil), I typed in a long text, but forgot im not allowed to talk in yt. as I reveal things tha 4rtsh0ns dont want ppl to know. IDK, is it because we REALLY have a possibility to escape their przn, or if they just want to maximize the energy output from us. And best way to do that is through deception - that i´m able to cancel, but it requires your eyes.
Which is just a purposefully obtuse way of saying that there really is no such thing as the individual in the clear light of Sunyatta or consciousness (describing consciousness as total and fundamental yet non-physical and thus empty). Buddhism is purposefully obtuse to shake people’s beliefs up in order to shake the foundation of the Vedic faith (which had devolved into debates regarding myriad gods and beings and other stuff that isn’t really important to realization of “The Self” which represents Purnam (whole and complete) in Hinduism and conversely Sunyatta (emptiness, all pervading) in Buddhism which describes the exact same thing which is consciousness). Don’t get hung up on differences between Anātman and Ātman as they are the same concept but looked at from different perspectives and metaphors.
Listening to this video and the explanations of Tom I realized how important it is to be open and not just stick to the teachings of the past. I realized how this can be a trap that delays our evolution, since the world is always evolving and naturally the tools to expand consciousness are also evolving. Today the idea of virtual reality that Tom presents to us may seem very futuristic to some people, but in a few decades it will be something understandable for many, and there will probably be other even more advanced perceptions to explain consciousness and reality. We are always evolving and it is wonderful to have access to new knowledge to continue our evolution and learning! Thanks MBT team & Tom ❤💎✨
What “I” experience as the realization process unfolds more and more here, is there’s actually no self. There seem to be a cognitive mechanism that comes out of nowhere. But there’s just one “thing”. We’re all one “thing” experiencing itself from different eyes. Consciousness seems to be glued to the codependent arising of all things. But this is just my experience anyway.
When i compare all the Teachers "out there", just visually, who try to explain to us the Nature of Reality, tom is the one, who come closest to the native, maybe "childlike" Imagination probably most people in this Game have of "god", even closer than the "Architekt" in "Matrix". By pure Chance ?
I don't really know for sure what Buddhism is about. And even the best ideas or descriptions will only be partially true and can be doubted. Though I've heard the point is to Awaken and be Liberated from the relative world involving only perspectives and interpretations. To realize the no self, or non-self. Then to return and integrate both the reality(s) of Absolute and relative as the One reality which transcends and includes all of that. At that point, most of the seeking, needing, and struggling stops.
What if we as an avatar have to sleep to recharge and so we return to a deeper level of consciousness, just as the consciousness that created the universe maybe also needs to sleep and return to a deeper level of consciousness in cycles for the same reason. It would switch the server off and nothing would be rendered just like we switch the computer off when we finish the computer game
Consciousness can arrive ex-nihilo, it is additive , I write these words, and you react to them, we form one mind. Consciousness waxes ad wanes. Do not try to talk to me early in the morning. we each have two brains that are alien to each other (Psychiatrist Dr. Iain McGilchrist, two consciousnesses.
@@eelco737 Well it seems they released a video talking about the results being successful, but the link I found in the published journal is dated from 2017, so I guess not. Sorry.
He made a short video recently saying it was successful. I think he's planning to put out more information at the Consciousness symposium which I think is later this month.
Joseph Campbell said the same thing... Myths are stories that give explanation to the unexplainable ❤

According to Buddhism, there is NO SELF. 😊

Tom when are you going to publish the results of the physics experiments you promised over a year ago? Can I assume it was a negative result then?
